The sad truth is Eli's basically had two careers. The first half was great, the second half has been a complete disaster. Nothing Rivers does changes that.
Haha. I’m just trying to point out that I wasn’t using Rivers to prop up Eli , I was having an argument at work with someone on the Hall of Fame and I use playoff records to defend Eli on the hall of fame argument.
So calling me pathetic for that is... I don’t know. Childish

just keeps rolling as long as Belichick and Brady are at the helm. They actually haven't drafted better than anyone else, but these two seem to be able to win with anyone.
No matter our special teams statistics and how favorable they may be, I will always fear committing a mistake like that in a big spot until we have completely rinsed every trace of Tom Quinn from the special teams unit.
Just so I'm clear, a returner fumbling a punt is a coach's fault! Do we blame OC's for dropped passes and DC's for missed tackles too?
For his run the ball, stop the run, rush the passer mantra but that’s exactly how the Pats are destroying the Chargers.
The Chargers are a really good football team and the Pats are making them look like Arizona.
The difference is BB has his teams in the playoffs every single year for almost 20 years now. Alot easier to trust a BB than a DG at this point in time.
Regardless, the merits of DG’s comments have proven to be valid.
The Pats are the only team in the league that do it, really.
the rabbit hole of Eli vs. Rivers, nobody really explains the elephant in the room that is Rivers missing the playoffs 7 out of 8 years.
When Eli does it, it is like he's on the team as a legacy frat pledge. When Rivers finally gets a team around him and they make the playoffs, it is like he's been the same guy all along.

Every team that’s won so far this weekend has utilized that formula.
game, NE has beaten the far out of SD on both lines of scrimmage. Rivers had no chance today. This is why Gettleman will continue to build the lines. He wants the Giants to be able to play like this.
and remained that way ...NE tough place to play but
they let Brady walk right down the field on the opening
drive and they never were in the game Team wasn't prepared
today there was no fight in this team today .
With Brady at the helm they just replace vets with vets
find pass rushers get the most out of every player.
It's a great culture it begins and Ends with BB but
when you have a QB like Brady who has managed to stay
healthy and BB has squeezed every last drop out of Brady
and the team . I think the Chiefs will dismantle them .
What bothers me the most is the fact that the Eagle and Cowboy fans are all giddy with the anticipation that Eli plays another 16 games for the Giants. I hope we can win the division and stick it in their ass next year.
Looks like the Dolphins will have to wait at least one more week to Â

I still don’t get the obsession over Eli playing or not next year. If a better solution comes along, great. But if they don’t fix the OL and DL it won’t matter who our QB is.
RE: Rivers scored 7 points when the game was a game Â
Eli has more career wins in Foxboro over Tom Brady than

Roethlisberger and Rivers combined... 1 to 0.
I wonder how many QB's have more wins over Brady period than Manning.

While trying to research this I ran into another interesting Stat. Kerry Collins has beaten every single team in the NFL at least once except for the Miami Dolphins.
Here's the top QB's that have beaten Brady multiple times:
4 Peyton Manning
3 Jake Plummer
3 Drew Brees
3 Eli Manning
3 Mark Sanchez
2 Ben Roethlisberger
2 Chad Pennington
2 Jay Fiedler
2 Brian Griese.
I think Eli is the only one on that list to beat Brady at home

That’s not what I was doing though
Uh, what? Same draft class and trade. The comparisons are inevitable and perfectly fine.

There are 2 glaring differences in the numbers
Rivers has thrown way less interceptions, something like 175 vs 240
And Eli has been way better in the post season
Games payed, yards, TDs. All similar.

And none of it changes what Eli's career has been for the last 7 years.
I get why the comps are made, but it's not like Eli comes out looking good.

His two rings and Super Bowl MVPs would disagree.
I'm not. And it's not close.

Actually, he does. Unlike Jackson last week...and Rivers today....

I'm absolutely keeping Eli, no doubt. I would never give those titles back.
I think it's just sad what has happened with Eli. I never thought it would go this way.

B & B are the best ever and it's not even close.
Get ready to see Andy R. Get outcoached again next week.

I would state confidently that Lombardi’s Packers were..:)
Cmon Terps, you know that's one of the big go to moves of Big Blue Insecurity
Let the Eagles lose today.
Then hopefully we can see Brady lose next week.
He will do that next week and try and take away Hill and Kelce.
He will do that next week and try and take away Hill and Kelce.
It's going to be incredibly interesting to see what BB comes up with.
I think Brady & BB are 1-3 lifetime in KC. So there are some demons...
...the greatest NFL coach of all time.
And there's not a close second.
Thank you George Young.
