Not saying they can’t win, any given Sunday and all that, but NO at home! And after the blowout earlier this year. I’m not that good a picking games but this doesn’t look close.
I don’t think the Eagles will go in and be embarrassed Â
this time. Not ire about final score, however, it won’t be a blow out IMO. In fact it may come down to another FG and a close game. Saints FG Kicker will not be missing a kick however.
Hahaha. Me too. About to pop open a brew in the man cave. But the Saints winning will make me a happy drunk. A Saint loss will make me a sad drunk. Big difference.
the first throw underthrown, the first throw of this series kind of laid up there and his guy couldn’t get it in bounds and the third throw was an overthrow
not hit the panic button. Get Kamara and Ingram involved...that is what made their offense go when they were hot...and when they fizzled those two didn't get enough touches.
Might have to put on some music and open a book. Watching this team play well and thinking the bullshit Ill have to hear for at least another week is not how i wanna soend my Sunday.

Watching the vaginas on BBI try to downplay the Eagles success with cries of 'they're just lucky' or 'the teams they're playing just choked' is just hilarious.

Yeah, he is good. Didn’t he have like 27 TDS and 2 INTs one year and now an SB win under his belt. He is a good QB unfortunately.
His whole career is judged by some for his miscalculation (in hindsight) of signing with the Rams and Jeff Fisher (where QB's careers went to die) for one season.
Prior to that and since he has come back to PHI, he has been more than a solid QB. The more you watch him, he is a story of what good coaching and environment can do for a person allowing his individual talent to shine.

And fuck Pat Shurmur for being a total loser and pissing away that game in Philly, we wouldnt have to be sweating this shit out if he wasnt a total sack of shit.
I would love to know why any person on this board has any confidence in Shurmur. The guy is a definition of loser. Ben McAdoo has been a significantly more successful head coach than that clown. And McAdoo gets destroyed here like he's significantly worse than Shurmur.
have so much confidence playing with and alongside Foles.
One thing I like about Foles is he doesn’t get all histrionic back there. You don’t see him barking at refs, losing his cool, showing bad body language or blaming receivers.

Exactly. With the exception of Steve McNair, has Fisher ever coached a QB who played well?
both lines of scrimmage. Every game this weekend has gone like this. Whoever wins the line of scrimmage won. No surprise. Eagles are energized and have punched NO in the mouth. No response yet.
Jesus Christ you couldn’t script it better for these cocks Â
usually in every playoff year, in round 2 you have 1 road team win. I didn't think it would be Philly. Brees had Ginn open on that first pick but under threw him and it's been bad ever since. Still, lots of time.
As much shit as I can give Aikman especially when I'm frustrated with Giants play, Buck/Aikman are just worlds above these goons (as are Nantz and Romo).

The universe went a few degrees off its axis, especially in 2007. That was the heigh of sorts fandom and we should've known we'd have to pay for it. In order for the cosmos to self-correct we now have to watch another talented-but-flawed team, and a rival at that, get hot and do the improbable.
Read his press clippings. Saints have dominated so many games that it hasn't been a factor.
He hasn't been the shutdown corner he looked like he'd become last year but he's been pretty solid after his very slow start. PFF just ranked their top corners of the season and he came in at like 21 I believe. Plus, Eli Apple is the corner opposite him so the bar isn't that high to be the guy not to target.
One of the few, if any, teams in the NFL who are dominant on both the offensive and defensive lines.
And it's crazy the depth they have on both sides. Brooks goes out and Wisniewski, a starter on their squad last season, slots right in. And they are two deep at every spot on their DL.

about this game? I think NO can pull it out, but it's going to come down to the end.
I'm feeling better no doubt. The Saints need to start the 2nd half how they've finished the 1st. They can't let the Eagles get going off the jump again.
I'll give you Ronde but to me Spielman just needs more experience . His delivery and timing might need work but he knows his shit and I think is pretty insightful during games.
On the Eagles on the 2nd move. I'll give him the hand contact late but early in the route a flag should've been thrown. He definitely made contact past five yds and obstructed the route running and timing.
an excellent job on Ertz. Giants should really take notice on what the Saints are doing . This isn’t the first game that this is happened. Saints kept him quiet earlier this year.
I hope you're right as I said before the game it would happen today, and I've been holding my breath ever since. Especially the way he started but thankfully he threw the 1st half pick that turned the game.
We just need one nice long drive here for three and we can all wave bye bye Birdie.
I literally hope he exact opposite, I hope the eagles commit to him over Wentz. He was fairly average- at best- in the playoffs, 466 yds 3tds 4ints. He lives off of throwing (read, lofting) the ball into open space off his back for and having his big receivers come down with it.
the issue is and i have been consistent, I really don’t think he should be paid the money the Giants would need to get him. He is 30, definitely not elite, and I just think we should go to the draft. But I don’t get why some on here just bury him so much. He is above/average QB.

I think that’s a pretty accurate characterization of Foles. Average, he can be good he can be bad. He is good at what the eagles ask him to do at times. This season he wasn’t very good at the start (which led the eagles to rushing Wentz back) and wasn’t very good in the playoffs. He had a nice run when Wentz went down again before the playoffs. I think over the course of a 16 games season (which he hasn’t had to do), he’s probably in the 18-22 qb rank range.
Even though they lost a lot of talent to injury, thank god they lost today. I think Peterson is a good coach
Really? If Shurmur called that game we'd be killing him. They only ran the ball 16 times all game and only 3 in the 2nd half!
They made no adjustments after they went up 14-0 and the Saints just started teeing off because Pederson got away from running the ball.
I think a good coach does something after scoring two TDs on the first two drives. He can't get shutout the rest or the way. At worst he has to have some ball control and eat clock if he doesn't score and they didn't even do that.
He's a SB winning coach so he gets credit for that but I've seen enough of him to question how good is he?

They're not committing to Foles over Wentz. Wentz's ceiling is far higher than Foles even with his injury concerns

Could not agree more.
I've been pointing out that Foles floats the ball way too much to play at this level - and be consistent.
Kudos to New Orleans for changing it up and going man-to-man and force Foles to make throws..........
he utilizes Jeffery’s talents significantly better than Wentz. I don’t know why that is, but it’s pretty obvious.
On another note, Kelce said after the game that he is thinking of retiring. Said he had thought about it for 2-3 years and is considering it this offseason. Peters can’t really finish a game anymore, and Brooks tore his Achilles but I am sure he will be ok by September. That OL which is the anchor of that team is a big question mark going into the off season.

In 07 and in the process forget all the big plays he made on the way to and after Tyree s miracle catch.
Now we have Giants fans saying same thing about Foles.
Come back to me when he wins 2nd one to prove the first one wasn't a fluke.
I'll one up ya.
Come back to me when he QBs a team for a FULL season, then leads them to the Super Bowl.
Eli's done that twice.
Foles in all probability won't sniff that.
Has Foles even ever started a full 16 games? So I guess I would say come back to me when Foles starts a full 16 games in this league, forget leading a team to a super bowl after a full season.

Eagles..err..iggles
Eagles give us all a scare near the end.
I have a sinking feeling this game will be close. I also have a feeling my BAC might be off the charts if Philly somehow pulls this out.

I guess Brees could have broken his leg.
Well hopefully like the Eagles they just shot their load.
Agreed, I couldn’t put my finger on it but that’s what his throws look like.

A high-quality pass rush travels anywhere and can wreck games.
That should be the lesson we take from this season and playoff as we build our team going forward.
Remember when we had a "questionable secondary" in '07? RW McQuarters, Geoffrey Pope getting run?
A d-line that can cause damage can make up for a lot of deficiencies.

Or is Charles Davis the worst announcer ever
Ronde Barber and Spielman are worse..
I'll give you Ronde but to me Spielman just needs more experience . His delivery and timing might need work but he knows his shit and I think is pretty insightful during games.
For a penalty that dissapeared from the NFL years ago
Suck it philly
No it wasn’t.

It reminds me of those TV shows where the bad guy is the one who calls the cops.
Not being up a full TD. We've seen this movie before.
Great example of how a great pass rush can help the DB's
Horrendous offense since the first 2 drives.
Horrendous offense since the first 2 drives.
Wrong! Pay him $25 million a year and cut Eli!

Sadly, people here really want that...
Horrendous offense since the first 2 drives.
Ahh man now you've done it. Lol.
I hope you're right as I said before the game it would happen today, and I've been holding my breath ever since. Especially the way he started but thankfully he threw the 1st half pick that turned the game.
We just need one nice long drive here for three and we can all wave bye bye Birdie.

I'll take it!
I thought it was a smart play to try and get it in before the 2min warning. Should've been caught too.
Down six you can't be worried about leaving time on the clock for the Saints. Your main priority is getting the TD.

Go home, losers. Alshon won't be able to sleep for a while.
Breese is amazing ..

Absolutely!!!!!
Wasn’t his fault at all. And he’s actually a good guy. Hope he lands as a
starter somewhere else next year.
I honestly believe it was luck over talent.
Exactly!
They're all playing with injuries.
Excellent point!
You can knock pots and pans together like the loser Eagle fans do
They're killing the coaches especially Schwartz for playing soft zone.

Was thinking the same thing. He’s a class act, much like Eli.
I literally hope he exact opposite, I hope the eagles commit to him over Wentz. He was fairly average- at best- in the playoffs, 466 yds 3tds 4ints. He lives off of throwing (read, lofting) the ball into open space off his back for and having his big receivers come down with it.
Now we have Giants fans saying same thing about Foles.
Raiders have cowboys 1st rounder

Apparently he has a giant dick too. Making Brett instantly smitten.

I'll like him even more in the AFC.

Come back to me when he wins 2nd one to prove the first one wasn't a fluke.

I'll one up ya.
Come back to me when he QBs a team for a FULL season, then leads them to the Super Bowl.
Eli's done that twice.
Foles in all probability won't sniff that.

Has Foles even ever started a full 16 games? So I guess I would say come back to me when Foles starts a full 16 games in this league, forget leading a team to a super bowl after a full season.

Nope - 11 is the closest he got and that was the year he spent in StL. He was terrible.
