early this month to see Miss Saigon and I noticed Hello Dolly! was going to be in town. I told my wife I really wanted to go because as a kid my parents played the cast album starring her. I literally hadn't thought about Carol Channing in 30 years. Rest in peace and thanks for some really good memories of my parents enjoying your music.

And for the record, Ms. Channing was a Broadway star in the fullest sense of the word. I'm sure lights will dim as per tradition this evening across all the Broadway theaters.
