I'm on Youtube looking up Sous Vide Beef Cheek recipes, really just getting an idea on time & temp. I just picked up 40 lbs. of beautiful cheeks, just trying to come up with an idea.....
Pretty quickly into the second season. We enjoyed some of the first season episodes but it was always a guilty pleasure, until the guilt far outweighed the pleasure.

Never seen them in a retail store, Drew, but I know they're amazing. I'm sure you'll come up with something outstanding. With a quick search, below is an Emeril video- not sous vide. Also, here's a link for a similar recipe, sous vide.

I'm seeing some lower sous vide temps elsewhere, but they're going from 1-3 days
I like the show. Think it is a very well written show.
It had a few early moments to keep us intrigued and had some funny bits, but I disagree that it was well written. The dialogue is entirely unnatural -- no one talks the way any of the characters do in the show.
It's not like it's Friday Night Lights or something.
I saw one episode that somehow links Franco Harris to the family so I’m wondering if he’s someone’s uncle or father or something. Haven’t seen any episodes since November though so I’m not sure if that has been explained.

I actually enjoyed the show with my wife. Loved the first season, liked the second. This one has been pretty meh.
I think you're right about the dialogue, and it's been getting worse every season. After watching last night, I told my wife that it was totally losing me now. It's really just one speech after another.
has such a show. In the 80's it was "Thirtysomething". Something to watch with the spouse while feeling the testosterone drain from your body every minute you watch.

I have entered the groundhog day period of my life. A 7 and a 4 year old at home doing the same thing, day in, day out. Television not required for testosterone draining.
and really liked the Randall and Beth characters and their relationship. The actors (Sterling K. Brown and whomever plays Beth) are fantastic. It reminded me of Coach and Tammy Taylor from FNL (same show-runner). But I found the other siblings unlikable and didn't watch the second season.
Some of the emotional moments were really well done, but it was too melodramatic each week.
but I gave up towards the end of last season. I like Toby alot but I just can't stand Kate and it has nothing to do with her appearance. She is up there with Bridget from Ray Donovan as the worst characters on tv.
the first season and the second was decent but I have had no desire to watch the new season. I think they overdid it with all of the "very special" and "can't miss" episodes.
for a tear-jerking time suck. I still catch up on it on demand when I have nothing else to do. Right now Kevin's girlfriend is the best thing on the show. lol Anyone else wanna punch Toby in the slats? STFU dude.
I think we all need to throw out our Gillette razors.... Â
Story about an imperfect family, told with interesting twists and flashbacks , and although sappy, I enjoy watching it. Randall Kate and Jack are great characters.
+1

Also the writer/creator of the show is a big Giants fan.

Plot lines aren't always the strongest, but the direction and much of the acting is very strong.
I'm really impressed with some of the kid actors they found that really pair up well with their older counterparts.
That said, Mandy Moore cannot pull off her 'older' character.
But overall, like the show, still watch it.

I have no intention of picking the show back up.
I couldn't take it past the episodes with Sly Stallone.
It took them forever to explain how the Father died and I was only watching it for the wife to begin with anyway.
I bet you’re right there with him sweet cheeks.

who watches this show and cries every Fucking time. Hes 6'6" and about 320 right now and he blubbers like a baby. It's absolutely hilarious.

I've never watched it for that very reason, sweetie.
Oh yeah, I remember her. I'd like to purchase HER "unlimited data plan" if you know what I mean...
:-)

Mandy Moore is the oldest 34 year old women ever.
It's like she has been around FOREVER.
