IMO Mudiay has shown enough improvement this season that I believe he can be a long term answer at pg for the Knicks.
i want to see him with kp,i want to see him dish more
Yeah but he is still only 22. I think Fizdale wanted to get him turned around offensively and restore his confidence first. There is still plenty of time for him to learn between when it's better to pick his scoring opportunities or spreading it around.
When you compare him now to what we saw after the trade last season and he arrived, it's night and day. He has improved a lot. It's just not yet a finished product.
this is all good, remember the goals for this year:
-get KP healthy
-develop KK, MR, AT, FN (all but FN have progressed nicely)
-secure another high pick
-no dumb ass trades
They are already ahead of the game with Trier because heading into the season nobody expected him to be what he is and I don't think you can even say he was a goal. He is a bonus to the goals the team had heading into the season.
Once he gets his legs back he should start, he fills out a little bit more he is going to be a firce defensivelt and on boards
The thing that worries me about Robinson is that he seems quite uncoordinated for a professional athlete. He fouls a ton which isn't all that unusual for a rookie. More noteworthy, he'll do things like lose the ball when trying to come down with a rebound repeatedly. He has all the physical tools and I'm hopeful that it's just a result of the missed reps last year and limited PT this year but it does concern me.
you guys have low standards for Frank lol. I can't watch the game at work but 1-4, 1 rebound, 2 assists in 10 minutes?
In the games Frank plays well he often is one of the team leaders in +/- regardless of how ugly his other stats are. This game is a good example of that as he lead the team with a +11. Granted +/- is flawed and if you look at his total +/- for the season it is horrendous, but one could argue it's mainly because the whole team is a big minus. Regardless, his +11 implies that he's providing at least something good out there.
He was on the court as they extended the lead in the 2nd quarter of this game and he was on the court for good portions of when they came back against the 76ers.
I don't think anybody would argue that Frank is particularly good right now, but neither is any other player on the team. Unlike some here on BBI who only seem to think shooting matters, when Frank flashes it is my opinion that there is at least hope for him to become a good player even if it isn't offensively.

He absolutely needs to learn some fundamentals around the rim i do think part of it is missing all of last year...
Right now he grabs a board and tries to do to much
Vonleh and Mudiay 4 each
He should keep shooting them
Dotson 13
Trier 10 (3 assists)
Vonleh 8 rebounds
For the Wiz:
Satoranský 12
Beal, Bryant and Ariza 8 each
(Bryant 8 rebounds, Ariza 5 assists)
Porter Jr. 7
Dekker 6

He needs to stay healthy

The Knicks could sell you a left handed screw driver.
