you need someone who wants to trade up. I think the only teams that would trade up would do so for a QB. The reality is that there are not that many teams hungry for a QB...
Jacksonville has a team that just went to the AFC championship game last year. They also just added a new OC who just happens to have worked with Nick Foles. I don't see them trading up for a QB. They are in Win now mode.
Washington led the NFC east until their QB was lost for the year. The current management team and coaching staff has to win now or get replaced in a total overhaul. So I don't see the owner letting them waste draft picks to move up to take a QB in a bad QB draft. I see them picking a vet, and riding it out. If the team emplodes, they will clean house and draft a QB in 2020.
Denver is the only other team I think may need a QB, but is the need that strong. And would the owner allow Elway to trade up after he has shown a penchant to not know how to pick QB's... Paxton Lynch was a first rounder, They just signed Case Keenum(good second half), they drafted Brock Osweiler.
I think no one trades up, and the Giants end up with Haskins.
Redskins also absolutely could trade up. It makes no sense to sense for them not to draft a QB. Even if they ride Teddy Bridgewater or Fitzpatrick or McCown in 2019.
And the Giants may not take Haskins even if he's there and they are still at #6.
Don’t have the juice to move up and I don’t know how many picks Elway has .... I don’t think it’s a lock these teams move up .... If you ask me Giants are in the best position to land a QB either by moving up or staying put.....

Skins don’t have the money to afford a Vet. They either stay put and draft whichever qb falls to them or they roll with Colt and Josh next year until Alex is healthy.
The Redskins don't have the pieces to move up. They might as well take the third QB. Denver and the Jags are to me the only two teams in play for a QB. I think at this point the Giants should take a franchise QB they might not be in this position next season.
Anybody who wants a QB will do whatever they can to move up Â
ahead of #6 since they know the Giants are/will become desperate to draft a replacement for Eli.
At this point not only does DG need to determine what QB(s) he likes most in this draft or next, he needs to determine how certain he is to be able to attain them or what he is willing to do move up to ensure it or out-flank another suitor.
For all the morons who proclaimed that 2018 wasn’t going to be the last year ever to find a QB seemingly overlooked the execution risks that can arise by simply dropping from the #2 spot to #6.
The Giants did the right thing by drafting Barkley anyone upset about that is crazy. They guy is a total stud. There is two top QBs in this draft and the Giants are in great position and if we trade up from six to say 4 and give up a 2nd or third rounder so be it. We can add free agents to make up for it.

Oh...well that’s a relief. I didn’t realize it was so simple. Disregard my post...

The top talent in this draft are D lineman/ edge rushers (which the 49ers have 3 1st round guys already in Buckner, Armstead, Solomon Thomas.) and Josh Allen is more of a 3-4 OLB (though yes he could possibly play a stand up OLB in a 4-3 but that’s not how you get the most out of Allen). Right now they need help along that OL (especially the boatload of money they paid Jimmy G and Staley potentially retiring soon.)
Most likely their gonna trade with Jacksonville and pick one of either Cody Allen or Jonah Williams.
is something fanboys always clamor for, but I'd be hard pressed to give up a #6.
personally I sit at 6 and take my choice between Kyler Murray, Ed Oliver, Clelin Ferrell, Cody Allen, Josh Allen or Deandre Baker. Chances are atleast one will be available:
Need talent everywhere and they're short picks after the trade for Darnold. I think they'll look to slide back to the 6-10 range and pick up some extra picks.
always have to pick up the phone and listen IMO, but I'm generally not in favor of trading down from a top #10 pick. Even less so this year because we have a wealth of day three picks. My complaint has always been that Reese never traded down in any round. I don't think DG has either ("don't get cute.") But this doesn't seem like a good year to do so. A trade up is more likely. I could see DG packaging two fourth round picks to move into the third for a player who unexpectedly drops.
But before, we can assume who?
The FA QBs need to be determine....
Jacksonville and Washington are the most desperate. Denver should be in play. The Giants might be active.
Hell, Arizona could start off the craziness, if the HC was serious with what he said.....
