me chills. Best one I've seen. Very cool production. SB was one of the only reasons I watched during this shitty season. He made it bearable. He's only going to get better. Improve our OL just a little and watch him break 2,000 yards. Generational!
Just can’t get over how lucky our favorite team gets to enjoy his services. So similar moves to Barry Sanders. It’s eerie. Not mention in the video is the fact that he lowers his shoulder like Jim Brown. All done with a below average line. Get him some Olinemen. A couple more seasons like this and we can pretty much say that we can start putting him in the Lawrence Taylor category on the offensive side of the ball.
I also thought it interesting when they compared him to Chuck Foreman Â
at the 8:40 mark...the consecutive hurdles...Ive never seen anything like that in 30 years of watching football. The vast majority of guys who play 10 years in the league dont put together a highlight reel like he did in just 16 games as a rookie.

I agree. That play actually stood out of all the plays in the video. It was a unique piece of running I had never seen before.
Always the mention of the offensive line? It's like someone thinks that if he mentions the offensive line there are a thousand people reading this and saying this guy knows what he is talking about. If there was a different offensive line it would be a whole different game. Ezekiel Elliot and Todd Gurley, behind 2 supposedly amazing offensive lines, have similar yardage. No question Barkley is great and he will get his yardage no matter who is blocking for him.
14 and 15 against Indiana and Tennessee, did Barkley revert to what he looked like at the at the beginning of the season. He averaged only 2.0 and 2.2 yards per carry in those games.
Did Barkley revert to his early season tendency of trying to bounce everything outside. Did the defenses just stuff so many players in the box that it was impossible to run and throwing the ball should have been easy and forced them to take a safety out of the box?
I remember a game when the Giants played the Vikings when Adrian Peterson was in his prime. The Giants were all over Peterson for his first ten carries. He was averaging no better than two yards per carry.
Then on his eleventh carry he split the defense and ran seventy yards for a touchdown.
This but I think he's better than Barry Sanders. Or will be.
Assuming Saquon has a healthy career like Barry Sanders did, well, I think "all things being equal" he could be a superior player. I base this on not only his highlight real but his overall skill set which includes the ability to catch the damn ball against anyone who tries to cover him.
If the Giants are smart and can manage it this off-season, they need to get a starting caliber RT this off-season and draft some youth to build and hopefully have starters sometime 2019.

I don't know why you got your panties all twisted. Better players means more wins. More talent on offense while winning can be a to of fun. Just as defense can but maybe some love offense more. WHy get so twisted over it?
The best highlight video I have ever seen..
I never said he was not faster than Chuck foreman. I only alluded to the way he utilized the spin move.

Another Barkley mini movie - ( New Window )

I'm sold already.

Yes as much as I was a QB guy - SB made the season. Would love to see Giants support him throughout his career.

If #26 had a good line to run behind . . . .
