guys that impressed me during the Senior Bowl week:
| Chris Lindstrom | OG | Boston College - probably a lazy analysis to say he's a Snee clone given BC connection, but he's so polished, so NFL ready to start and be above average day one
| Garrett Bradbury | OC | North Carolina State - smart, easy mover, get's to LBs frequently
| Kaleb McGary | OT | Washington - massive RT with good feet and immense strength, 6'7" frame too
| Andre Dillard | OT | Washington State - probably more of a RD1 guy when all is said and done, left tackle who seems to be well schooled with excellent feet
Others but I didn't see at the Sr Bowl:
| David Edwards | OT | Wisconsin
| Elgton Jenkins | OL | Mississippi State
| Connor McGovern | OL | Penn State & | Michael Deiter | OL | Wisconsin- more of a 4th round type, but very versatile
At least one very good OL will be there at our 2nd round pick IMO, just gotta grab the right one. I think there will be options in round 4 also.
The major thing for me with Bradbury is he seemed to get pushed back so easy in the one on ones.
I thought the USC RT showed pretty well at LT, but its such a limited body of work.
Potential RT anchor for years.
I'd like to be wrong about that.
Potential RT anchor for years.
I thought the same.
Draft Scout OT Rankings - ( New Window )
Based on the reviews Howard got at the Senior Bowl, and the league's need at the position, I'm doubting whether he lasts.
The Draft Scout list has Howard down at #14 OT. I think that is now way off.
There is a video clip from the Falcons.com website where they discuss Howard as a possibility for their #1, which would be #14 overall.

Great call. Seems to have the perfect body type, coupled with above avg athleticism.
I suppose he's as fluid as Hernandez, so perhaps that's no longer a problem for the Gmen.
Answer: Never!
Vahe at Texas 330lbs and Krepsz 330lbs at Nevada look like examples of guard to center conversion projects.
Your looking for hefty folks who can also zone run block and who have quick out of stance ability, attitudability.
[quote] OSU's top guy maybe, Risner, it seems there's a gang of them. Benszchawel from Wisconsin... I think Deiter goes later... some questions about his athleticism. USC's OT, the small school OT at the Senior bowl...

Gettleman had some great hits it seems in draft last year. That along with a history success finding OL should give us a bit more confidence in the finding a starter in the 2nd. If it were Reese The opposite
But, players like Vahe or Krepsz, are out there if you restrict yourself to guard or center.
The tackle discourse tends more reachy.
Has Dieter as an OT. Yes, he paged their last out of necessity, but he is an interior lineman.
Enough of SB getting stuffed on first down move the chains
with the run game the passing game will flourish .
I hope they take a WR with size that can get downfield .
Lattimer came on but need to challenge him as well if they
do bring him back .
Answer: Never!
Wrong answer.
You don't go back to Kevin Belcher? Dude was a stud. More recently Bart Oates.
*Side note and a good place to ask. Say the Giants traded to the 1st pick (again not sayig they should) what would it cost? My friend thinks the Giants could get to #1 in the exact same deal the Jets made last year, give #6 and three 2’s. This is just a discussion between a few coworkers and I kind of figure it would cost them more than that, figured I’d ask the experts.
