Barkley had a great year, but this is the equivalent of best 10-year-old in a Spy Kids sequel at the Nickelodeon awards.

I loved Mayfield coming out, happy to see him doing well. Both will be awesome for a while. Two different players that maximize their abilities with completely alternate personalities, which i find interesting.

What fantasy? The best player in the class is on the Giants. Your argument is they should have taken a QB. Well the best QB went #1. The Giants are going to keep personal the same model that they've been; based on the franchise QB. THEY value the quarterback above all, and they are going to try to replace Eli with another Eli.

And they passed up on a great opportunity to do that. And now they're looking at a much poorer QB draft, and an even more severe quarterback hole.

taking Saquon with the 2 pick last year was the right choice, is certainly up for debate...but it's a moot point. He's our RB, he's fucking amazing on and off the gridiron. I'm happy for him and happy he's a Giant.

I'd like to think thoughtful fans can separate wanting a different, valid direction for the team and Barkley having a subjectively fantastic season. Not mutually exclusive.
