Horrendous as always.
Luka didn't even have one of his huge games and yet put up 16 8 and 5. Damn he's good. Hawks fans can't be happy (and that's with Young having a very nice rookie season)
DSJ was damn good
-Would like to see Robinson gain confidence with the ball. I know he's never going to be a big scorer but at times I think he should be taking the shot vs. being scared to do so.
- Hadn't noticed how well Markkanen has played, 17, 8 and a block on the season
-Harden is probably the MVP favorite but would be fun to see Jokic swoop in and win.
Dave Joerger is doing a very impressive job in Sac. Their younger players are giving quality minures.
Zion is special. If he stays healthy, I would be surprised if he wasn't atleast as good as Clippers Blake Griffin with a decent chance at being a legendary Barkley/Kemp hybrid.
Davis is making $27 mil per and becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2 years. He'll make $40 million per year then.
If you get #1 and get Zion, he's yours for like $9 million per and under control for 4 years. And you keep your other assets like Knox and KP. There's no way you trade this pick if you get one of the top 3.
Its why that proposed trade of Matthews/ DSJ for Frank and Hardaway was hilarious. So the Mavs would be downgrading both players and taking on more money? Why on earth would they do that?
And I get Smith has flaws. But Frank hasn't flashed 1/100th of his offensive ability....
Don't tell the Posting and Toasting writers, who get VERY angry at anyone who suggests Frenchy is horrendous on offense.
Anyway, elsewhere in the association....Grayson Allen is still a piece of shit.

The way they could stretch the floor would be tough to defend
also says boston is nervous the knicks could trade for davis and then sign irving away

I could see the Knicks getting cold feet on a Davis deal if they actually win the Zion sweepstakes. Not saying they should, but right now it's just a draft pick - a 14 percent chance at a player. If they meet with Zion and work him out, he may win them over.
wow! The Celtics would really be generous enough to offer Hayward and Smart? How big of them! What a bunch of crap. This is just Lowe carrying the water for Ainge/Zarren.
Only way I see the Celtics able to offer a competitive package without Tatum is if the Memphis pick ends up at #9 and the Kings pick ends up in the 2-4 range.
Nice to see some panic setting in up there though. That dynasty everyone seemed so certain of has some serious question marks.

I completely agree.
Plus you still have pieces to move for a backcourt and cap space if you can move THR.
But let's be honest does anyone believe they won't mess this thing up?
Copied MYSELF just to clarify lol
Possibly but he simply hasn't taken a major step forward and this is now year 3. Everyone said year 2 would be a huge difference and that didn't happen (much like Ingram in fact). PER is down, WS/48 is down, shooting is down and career 67% from the line for a 6'7 kid isn't ideal. Trust me here, if Knox only shows this much in year 3, I'll be saying the same things.
Agree with this and what Enzo said earlier. If Boston doesn’t include Tatum, I don’t see this great package everyone keeps referencing. Unless the Sac pick turns into the 2nd or 3rd overall pick.
But if I’m the Pelicans I would take the 4 young Lakers guys and multiple unprotected firsts over a Celtics package without Tatum. Especially since any player the Celtics draft cannot be traded until August/ September. Do they really want drag out that process?
Davis while keeping KP.
Davis while keeping the 2019 1st.
Davis while opening up 2 max slots in free agency.
i wonder if his agent told him knicks are looking to trade him for davis

His agent is his brother so he probably knows as much as we do. Which is to say, you’re probably right lol
I still don’t think it’s possible but watch KP make history and accept the QO. Imagine this happens and the Knicks end up with the 7th pick. Oh man...
Uhhh KP, you're on the Knicks. This is news to you? We've been the laughing stock of sports since the Browns actually won some games this year.

umm knox, trier, robinson all are long term pieces, not to mention a top pick coking and if kp was not such a baby a max slot he can recruit someone...
I think that's the turn off.
Whether it was Carmelo in his ear, or whatever happened to him I don't know but he is the Matt Harvey of the Knicks.
I get he's dealt with the Knicks losing org., but at this point now all he has to do is get healthy and in all likelihood come back to a totally revamped and hopefully much better team.
I also wish Phil traded him before he left.

Can you really blame the guy? The team is a compete train wreck on the court and Steve Mills is still employed. Who are the legit long term pieces here?

I’ll give you Knox. But are you really confident in any of the other guys being good nba starters or atleast contributors on a good team?
Which reminds me- Fizdale was hired in part because of his player development skills. Have you really seen any legit positive growth/ strides in the young guys this season?
I have absolutely zero faith in the Knicks wooing anyone.
In the end, if the Knicks offer the max I think he stays. He can always try to force a trade later on like everyone else does. If the Knicks try to get cute with the contract, all bets are off.

you have not seen improvement from mudiay, vonleh?
robinson you dknt think can be nba starter? seriously? he didnt play any basketball last year and already looks like he belongs..
Trier i think can easily be a 6th man scorer off the bench..
i dont get how you can watch and not think trier or robinson cant be contributors...
hell luke kornet looks better this year than last
it is funny last year damn this team won 5 of 7 games to end the year they didnt tank right..
this yesr they are tanking right and now it is they are losing and suck this stinks...
