Horrendous as always.
Luka didn't even have one of his huge games and yet put up 16 8 and 5. Damn he's good. Hawks fans can't be happy (and that's with Young having a very nice rookie season)
DSJ was damn good
-Would like to see Robinson gain confidence with the ball. I know he's never going to be a big scorer but at times I think he should be taking the shot vs. being scared to do so.
- Hadn't noticed how well Markkanen has played, 17, 8 and a block on the season
-Harden is probably the MVP favorite but would be fun to see Jokic swoop in and win.
Dave Joerger is doing a very impressive job in Sac. Their younger players are giving quality minures.
- yes Trier can be a nice scorer off the bench.
- Vonleh and Mudiay have improved. Its also almost certain they wont be here next year.
I just think this young core gets a littler overrated. My point is these guys are still a big question mark if they can be legit contributors on a good team.

they are 19, knox is the 2nd youngest player in the nba and started basketball late...
robinson did not play at all last year...
what did you expect?
have a little patience
I don't get what he did wrong. Talking with the team is exactly what he should be doing.
Fair point and I get how young him and Knox are. The improvement of Mudiay and Vonleh is great. But its very unlikely they have a future here. And Frank and Dotson havent made any strides this season.
Maybe its just the awful losing but I just view most of these guys as a massive question mark. They run no offense, play awful defense and just havent shown much in recent games...

follow the league much? Someone leaked this for a reason.
i thought this to
I'm sick of this KP drama. Every fucking week it's something new with him.

Yeah. And we're just assuming it was him?
you would do that AFTER the trade. It's most likely KP and his agent stirring the pot.

to soften the blow when they send him to New Orleans? Seems more likely it's coming from KP and his idiot sibling.

i almost wonder they heard his name in trade talks...
the 2nd tweet from woj was interesting saying how hr just wants to build a winner in new york, almost like please do not trade me
Davis while keeping KP.
Davis while keeping the 2019 1st.
Davis while opening up 2 max slots in free agency.
Same here. I think they could actually pull this off.
why would they ever trade Davis for that? unless KP showed he was healthy or committed to extension prior?

I dunno. Why did the Cavs trade their star (who was under contract for 2 full years) for a broken down Isaiah?

umm because they were catering to GM lebron- dealing with 2 millenial babies--- and at that point trying to keep lebron happy----- the comparison isnt remotely close to similar.
and AD might be the best player in the leauge

Kristaps Porzingis left the Knicks with the impression that he prefers to be traded, league sources tell @ramonashelburne and me. Knicks are expected to commence discussions on moving him ahead of next Thursday's deadline.

If they were trying to make him happy, they could have, you know, maybe made a better trade? GM LeBron didn't force the Cavs "braintrust" to make a bad deal, they did that all by themselves. Funny how the Celtics still have all of these assets to offer...
Linsanity? Gone at the end of the season. Our alleged savior Porzingis? Our franchise player? Won't even see the end of his rookie deal.
You can assume Durant, Kawhi or Kyrie would come in free agency but thats hardly a sure thing. Most likely scenario IMO would be Durant stays with Golden State, Kawhi goes to Lakers or Clippers, Kyrie stays in Boston.
In that scenario the Knicks are fucked and Davis probably just goes to the Lakers in a year.
Or switch out Knox and Robinson and put the 2019 first in there but make sure you have room for 2 max contracts.

Fuck that. Way too much.
Why not? The team has the worst record in the NBA, mediocre young prospects and no clear direction. Terrible sign about the internal outlook. Coach fighting with Kanter (granted he's a moron), Frank a step back, coach talking about THjr's salary? Really? The Knicks continue to be a total mess. Can't wait until they pick 4th or 5th and land another Frank weeeeeeeeeeeee
but unclear about health.
and RFA would be more likely
Ahhhh.
Kanter will be a distant memory soon.
At least the Knicks are tanking right.
RE: Too much for Davis. Porzingis is currently hurt, coming up for a new contract as well as slightly overrated by Knicks fans.
I think this is entirely about his name popping up in trade rumors as opposed to "winning culture, direction of franchise" bullshit. I'd tell him to chill the fuck out. I'd also sure as hell try to trade him this summer for AD if the Knicks can somehow win the lottery.
Get through the draft and off-season.
He is under control and we can match any offer.
If it's built right he will stay.
He has zero value right now unless you flip him for a top 6 pick. (Chicago, Phoenix, Cleveland)
The Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors are among many teams expected to pursue Kristaps Porzingis in a trade, league sources tell ESPN.
