The Alliance of American Football rosters

Whole bunch of ex-Giants on the teams ranging from brief stays on the PS to training camp cuts to a couple of vets I saw.

Interesting to look through to see who people remember.

Damien Mama, Damontre Moore, Eric Pinkins
Good to see Trent Richardson could still get a job

Still can't believe with how dysfunctional the Browns organization was, they were able to swindle the Colts into giving up a 1st round pick for him.

The XFL starting next year, wonder if either league will be sustainable.
I saw Will Hill and Brad Wing and Akeem Hunt when I was perusing.

Should be the Birmingham And Eggers, they ruined a chance at a good breakfast named team.

Listening to Oliver Luck on Boomer and Gio this morning, he said the only drug testing they will be doing for the XFL is for anabolic steroids. Funny, I immediately thought of Will Hill and Josh Gordon.
WTH happened to Steve Spurrier?
Rico : 1/31/2019 12:46 pm : link
He went from legendary status at Florida to top paid coach in the NFL to the Alliance of American Football! Man, his time with Dan Snyder really sent his trajectory downhill.
Denard Robinson is listed as a RB. I see Brad Wing and Will Hill.
Anakim : 1/31/2019 12:47 pm : link
Oh, there's the DaMonster. Trent Richardson is on a team!?!?

Hackenberg...LOL, and he's going to compete with Zach Mettenberger. How fun.

.

He retied from Univ. of South Carolina a couple years back...at midseason. I don't like when coaches do that.
At least finish the season, then move on.

He's got to be 75 years old. probably a perfect job for him.
Well... at least we know
kes722 : 1/31/2019 12:57 pm : link
That it wont be a passing league LOL
I’ve actually met the guy who’ll be the OC for the Orlando team
Ben in Tampa : 1/31/2019 1:26 pm : link
Spurrier is basically going to be in the JoePa role and try to sell some tickets.
Matt Simms
jestersdead : 1/31/2019 1:34 pm : link
is on the Atlanta roster with Mike Vick as the OC. They have good "named" head coaches. Will be interesting to see how it does

I didn't know he was still playing football.

Was he ever really that good? I know some love the lefty punters (Belichick for one), but I don't remember him being particularly good.

How about Brian Kelly leaving Cincy after speaking to the team a week prior, telling them he loves them, his family loves Cincy and he wasn't interested in the ND job?

...They had to play a UF team coming off the upset loss to Alabama in the SEC championship game. Tebow's last game. They got steamrolled.

I hope the Giants never hire him. Great football coach, shitty guy.

Adrien Robinson on Memphis

How'd you guys miss that one, haha
I heard a rumor
Pete in MD : 1/31/2019 6:28 pm : link
a few years ago from a college football “insider” that the Giants liked Kelly a lot but it doesn’t seem like he was ever a serious candidate. This guy might have been guessing bc Kelly is a relatively successful college HC with an Irish last name.

Jerry Reese is going to love watching this league. Sounds like he should be a GM in It.

And then God forbid the Ravens were playing a prime-time game and Will Hill made a tackle, the whole game thread would be ruined.
