NFT: Woj: Porzingis wants to be traded according to brass

ryanmkeane : 1/31/2019 3:16 pm
Yikes. Looks like they will begin discussions on trading KP before the deadline next week. Let the games begin...
Good riddance..

Injury prone & never liked his attitude. Knick fans overrate him because they’ve been so lacking of talent. See ya.
Knicks won’t get anything for Porzingas

While he is injured

He needs to come back and prove he is the same player

I don't know why players have such a hard time grasping what we're doing here. If Porzingis actually wants to play on a competitive Knick team, this is necessary. We don't get any better by spinning our wheels somewhere in NBA purgatory.

If he just can't deal with that even though he's not even able to play right now, send him somewhere else. See how much he loves playing somewhere where people barely care on a team that isn't relevant.

Might be time for you to switch to the Nets, arc. Always drama with the Knicks.

I think he can't deal with it. He's so sensitive. I still remember how a little nothing comment by Fizdale he took personally as if Fizdale insulted his mother. Remember he went off the gird and they couldn't even find him just because of the mere rumor they were seeing what teams would be willing to trade for him. Not even actively trying to trade him, just talking and the guy went MIA.

I think I would trade him to be honest. He seems ultra sensitive and appears to have weird guidance.

Hah - nah. Never. The only reason I was able to do it with baseball is because I never really felt like my Mets fandom had any origin or reason behind it. My earliest baseball memories are the early 90's Yankees. Not the Mets.

Not sure why I ever decided to be a Mets fan but I have no family ties to them. No parent who raised me to be a Mets fan. Yankee Stadium was my first baseball game - not Shea. I guess I had some radar in me as a teenager and just wanted to go against the grain and then spent years wondering if I could feasibly just do what I had wanted to do for a very long time. Took the dive and it feels right to me. No regrets.

I'd never root for the Nets.

The only NBA team I'd ever even "pull" for outside of the Knicks would be the Supersonics if they came back - Kemp and Payton were my favorite NBA players as a kid.

But I'll never not be a Knicks fan. They've been a fucking joke for so long that I eventually just got to a point where it was "wake me up when they finally find a way out of this mess"

I've waited so many years, what's a few more.

It seems like the Knicks are your 4th team though, I def peg you as a stronger Ranger fan. Also, if the Mets ever made a run & won I’d hope you’d still find some enjoyment in it.

It's that too, it's easier for me to deal with the Knicks being poor since I've fallen off with the NBA a bit.

The NBA was my bread and butter when I was younger but in the early 2000's I kind of lost some interest and it didn't help that the Knicks were just perpetually awful.

I am definitely more of a Rangers fan.

The Giants and football in general are at the top for me. Baseball is a close second. Then hockey, and then hoops.

I would be happy for the Mets if they won the WS, though. I'd be happy for the fans. I wouldn't weasel back and act like I was there the whole time or try to claim that I deserve any of the enjoyment - but I'd absolutely be happy for you guys. It's the owners I hate - not the franchise or the loyal fans who deserve better. It was just a unique situation and "feel" thing for me.

I'd never switch any of the other teams I root for... NYR are going to have some rough times ahead of them. I can handle it. I have to. I have very early childhood memories of the Rangers and the 94 team and could never root for another NHL squad.
