be a franchise QB? If so, he had to be the pick. That’s what would have occurred in the last draft if there was a QB deemed a 10-15 year guy by the Giants, imo

So was Harrington
Peppers was actually teammates with Brendan Haywood at UNC Â
Such a complete player as well. He's 4th all-time on the Sacks list, strong against the run, very good at batting balls at the LOS, and was surprisingly adept at dropping back in coverage.
He wasn't always dominant but he was consistently an impact player for a long time and a freak athlete in his prime.
Peppers vs. Strahan is an interesting debate imo. I'm guessing most non-Giants fans would probably give the nod to Peppers but it's really close imo.
There's legitimate chatter that Newton will miss the season. Davis is already gone, and Olsen may retire. They could really be in trouble
Peppers!
Great career. Loved watching him play.
Hindsight. Plus they were an expansion team and needed a QB to build around.

They needed to build around Carr but they never could. They got him Andre Johnson and that was about it.

If they wanted to tank, next year is the year to do it. They get a new QB and move on from Newton.

It is. Ten years of double digit sacks by Peppers is very impressive. And he had 52 forced fumbles and 175 tackles for loss.
