The more likely you are to think we wuz robbed! I was a long time conspiracy theorist as a younger Giants fan. Nowadays (especially since they won a few Super Bowls), I am more mellowed - poop happens.

so sick of hearing them complain. If Payton runs the ball there 3 straight times, they would have won the game. Or if they stop the Rams from getting a field goal with a 1:45 to go.
Yeah, never mind that the saints jumped out to a 13 pt lead at home in the nfc title game and had EVERYTHING on a silver platter. As usual, the narrative on this game is fucking horse shit. The rams went into New Orleans, took the saints best 1-2 combo and WON the game. Cry me a fucking River.
And this is coming from someone who lost 500 bucks thanks to that missed call. Fans are fucking idiotic babies with no grip on what really happened.
Was it a bad non-call. Hell yes it was. Did it happen at the worst possible time? Yes. But the fact of the matter is this crap happens almost EVERY game! Think back over the season; how many times did we moan and complain over bad calls or non calls that went against the Giants? Answer is a LOT. Heck, im still ticked about that call for late hit or roughness or whatever it was in the Carolina game on 3rd down which ultimately led to a Carolina TD. And I seem to remember another controversy in the New Orleans game. Going back in time....Giants Niners playoff game with the botched snap. Need I say more. And if I was watching those same games from the perspective of a Carolina, Saints or 49ers fan, im sure id have a different set of complaints! And why limit it to football? How many times have you been watching a baseball playoff game where a pitch is right down the middle, but no strike call. Always seems that a HR or at least an RBI is to follow. Point is that this stuff happens. Refs/Umps are human. People make mistakes. Until there is replay for EVERY play, just gonna have to accept these plays and move on.
It was a bad call. It was a missed call but we’ve seen this kind of missed call 1000 times if we’ve seen it once. It was literally bang bang. Sometimes the human element comes into play. The refs fucking missed it. There’s no conspiracy. Every god damned time someone fails or errors the tinfoil low hanging fruit wack offs come out and proclaim that they are the enlightened ones. They know the truth. No, you don’t. You’re just an idiot that needs to convince him or herself that the world is out to get you. The truth is, no one gives a fuck about your stupid beliefs and theories.

This. The Saints royally fucked up that drive after getting 1st and 10 at the LA 13. Run, run run. 2 incomplete passes and the Rams only had to burn 1 TO. The missed call was bad but they blew it with trying to throw two times there.
RE: RE: Reminds me of the Pats fans petition for a SB 42 re-do Â
But given the way their fans behaved like scumbags in our house this year, screw them. I never seen an opposing fanbase talk so much shit. And I've been to about 30 cowboys games in my time.
there were so many ways for them to still win that game. Furthermore, there are no guarantees they win even if the correct call was made. Payton likes to say they would have run the ball if they got the first down. Easy to say after the fact, especially when that option was not considered in a similar situation already within field goal range. Also, a missed field goal is not out of the question.
Biggest babies in sports this year, and this reaction only further cements that title for them this year. Talk about pissing away your reputation and turning a nation against you.
Or the Rams. But, diminish how the fans are feeling. While the officiating has been awful, this was a way different kind of awful. And, with so many officials on the field who no doubt saw what happened and didn’t correct it, something is wrong. And like somebody said above, if it happened to the Giants, we would have complained for decades if not hired somebody to strangle that official
Of how fucking obnoxious saints fans have become since that first super bowl.
Just like the patriots, I went from rooting for them to subconsciously wanting them to lose at times. And I hate that bc my dad was a fan and is from New Orleans and my mom still lives there (actually attended the protest)
The officials say...
Now I'm glad the Saints lost. These fans are dipshits.
I don't recall hearing that but they sure raised a stink claiming their defenders were held during Eli's scramble to connect with Tyree!

bc of the way the refs managed the clock on the Giants final drive.

This is also the first time I have ever heard this statement. I will have to ask my son-in-law in Boston who is a Pats fan.

But this is just silly.
