I wouldn’t take anything that guy “reports” as credible, especially if it’s trade-related. With that being said, there was an ESPN article yesterday about trade talk around the league and the Magic were apparently talking to the Mavs about a DSJ for Bamba deal. Wonder if he was discussed with NYK who met with him the day before the draft.

Actually, there is. Teams under the cap entering the offseason have a MLE worth up to $4.6M / year, 2 year max contract. Colloquially referred to as the “Room” exception.
