I don't think you have an obvious MVP right now.

Probably be the player who determines the outcome.

Goff deserves MVP.

If Rams win, Brady deserves MVP

If he didnt drop the INT, he would be interesting. Edelman is a shoo-in.

For those that argued if he was HOF worthy

This kinda cemented it.
He was suspended for PEDs this year
pjcas18 : 2/3/2019 10:37 pm : link
probably the only player suspended for PEDs and SB MVP same year.

MLB this would be a big deal, NFL not so much. No one has even really mentioned it.

Agree... I think that other thread that was swirling around about him was ridiculous. To just look at regular season stats is stupid.

Winning is compelling, and Edelman has made major contributions to a lot of winning. I'll take that over stats.

He has.

There are a lot of terrific players who donít make the HoF. And Edelman just doesnít have a deep enough regular season resume - yet - to make a claim. At least a guy like Terrell Davis, with modest career totals due to injuryís, was a regular season MVP.

Regular seasin mvps don't win you championships

It's what you do when it counts. And, throughout his playoff career, Edelman has shown up countless times. He's indelibly made his mark in football history, and he will be surely awarded for doing so.

Hahahahaha.

Edelman doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of making it to the HOF based on his career to date.

Over 9 years, he has exactly twice the number of touchdowns Barkley had year 1. The oft injured OBJ has more yards and 50% more TDs in half as many seasons as Edelman. Edleman contributes to winning because BB and TB are driving the bus he's on. MVP by default, cuz they almost never give it to defenders. Hightower deserved it more.

Edelman offsets the size with superb quickness. You canít teach that. Itís a gift. And thatís why heís so impactful.

Heís a very good player. But the career numbers in the regular season need to be much better. And they are not. His numbers pale in comparison to Wes Welkerís, another slot widget in the Pats system over the last twenty years (Edelman, Welker, Amedola, Brown, etc).

Lou agree that Edelman is not a HoFer. But he was the MVP last night. Yes only 3 catches in the 2nd half, but they had to bracket cover him which left Gronk open(somewhat) and didn't he have a 20 yrder on the last scoring drive?

I hardly even noticed Hightower in the game, except maybe two plays. I saw Van Noy all over the place.
