But I'm not putting this all on him. I expected BB to do everything he could to not let Donald ruin the game for the Pats. It was going to be up to the rest of the DL to beat NE and they failed.
Suh played terrible and didn't just come up small, he was tiny with 2 tackles! Lol.
great. Donald and Suh were relentless, but were gassed by 4th quarter because the Rams offense was missing.
The Rans O actually closed the TOP gap in the 2nd half a bit but no doubt that 1st half caught up to them in the end. That said, I thought Suh was MIA for the most part.
I love when Stan puts his lack of sports knowledge Â
They doubled Suh and Donald and ran power at them and forced the smaller Rams linebackers to fill gaps. New England wore the Rams down. It was a brilliant plan.
RE: Pats did what several experts predicted earlier in the week Â

I think that was expected. What wasn’t expected was Goff/McVay having the worst game of their careers along with thr OLine. That doesn’t exactly help the DLine who was doing its job.
Donald was fantastic. Did you notice how many throws Brady missed that are routine for him? Know why? He couldn’t step up into the pocket for most of the game because Donald was pushing it every single time. The Pats scored 13 points. This is on Goff and the O...
With that said, and I've said this before, there is a reason the Rams have a poor run D. Part is the LB but part of it is Donald. When you run a gap scheme you cannot just fly upfield. When you do you create additional gaps. NE took advantags of this on the very first play of the game with Suh as the culprit. Donald was guilty throughout the game as well. NE took advantage of it. Donald will get crazy numbers because of his style of play like the sacks, pressures, TFLs, etc. but he isn't perfect. His combination of size, speed, and strength is probably unparalleled. I don't want this to be me ripping him. I am just pointing out that a smart team will take advantage of his style of play like NE did today.

Brady. He was lucky it wasn't Nick Foles or Carson Wentz. He would have been flagged.
I know exactly what play you are talking about. Me and a friend both looked at each other and said that in the regular season, thats called 9 out of 10 times
Brockers dona Ron of the dirty work since he came into the NFL. doesnt mean he isn’t still an all pro. And he’s pretty much the last guy to blame for today. But credit Bill B. Again. Kept his team on the field w staying w the running game. Keeping th Rams off the field a lot even though thedodnt score. Exhausting that DL since the rest of that defense is not nearly as stellar.
This is why as good as the Rams are they aren’t nearly the team NE is. Most franchises arent close to. NE Yeah. Not news. Join the crowd.

Looking back should people be as surprised the kid got out cached by then questioned GOAT strategist in NFL history though? The bigger surprise would be McVay out scheming him until proven otherwise.
Look at the number of plays the Rams' offense ran Â
the entire first half. They were brutally bad, and McVay rightly acknowledged after the game that he flat out was out coached.
They had no plan to move the chains. Go back and look at how Coughlin's Giants and Eli disembowled the Pats. First thing they did was take a lot of time of the clock and keep their D on the sidelines some.
Fucking hold Brady's bunch to 13, you gotta win that going away.
The rams defense held the pats to 13 points. Donald was a force along with the rest of the rams defense. This is the dumbest most clueless thread I’ve seen all year. Step away from the keyboard and don’t look back. You should ban yourself from posting for a year after that brilliant analysis

Offense got taken totally out of their game plan, really just gave up on running the ball, huge mistake, played right into BB's hands.
Donald was good. Actually Suh was active also. Look where Suh played a lot - they had him playing DE. When he was inside he was also getting doubled. There was a reason Brady was struggling with throws
It shows you how misleading stats can be - Brockers had a lot of tackles as a DL but thought the other 3 were much better
They had nothing left late
RE: RE: I saw him get away with roughing the passed on Â

For all the Ricky tack crap that gets called, I was shocked that wasn't called. He literally figured out the ball was away so he threw Brady down like a rag doll.
There may not be a poster on this board that understands the game less, and has more non-sensical opinions.
The Rams defense held the Patriots to 13 points...3 in the first three quarters...despite the offense consistently going 3 and out all night, and you think Aaron Donald is the reason they lost?
Go start another post about Barkley being unable to break tackles.
If I told you before the game NE would only get 13 points. I know which team you would be thinking will win the game.
As Eric pointed out Rams offense was missing in action. Maybe NE defense had a hand in that.
They kept the Pats offense to 3 Points for most of the game and allowed a total of 13 points to the 4th ranked offense that had been playing elevated ball through the playoffs.
Missing persons report should be on Goff for sure, but also the entire Rams offense including the coaching staff.
Suh played terrible and didn't just come up small, he was tiny with 2 tackles! Lol.
The didn't play inspired football. No no huddle. They just looked flat the entire game.
Phillips did a decent job although he let Edelman get free too much.
McVay and Goff are the two who cost the Rams. Both were deplorably bad today. Really all time worst performances from a coach and QB.
The Rans O actually closed the TOP gap in the 2nd half a bit but no doubt that 1st half caught up to them in the end. That said, I thought Suh was MIA for the most part.
I was very disappointed in Goff's performance. He played stupid. Exactly how BB scripted it.
I think that was expected. What wasn’t expected was Goff/McVay having the worst game of their careers along with thr OLine. That doesn’t exactly help the DLine who was doing its job.
Well it’s Stan, what do you expect?
Donald and the D was the bright spot. What did you want him to do?? Pitch a shutout?
Donald is a great player and helped hold the Pats O down and give the Rams a chance.
I know exactly what play you are talking about. Me and a friend both looked at each other and said that in the regular season, thats called 9 out of 10 times
It was Goff.
He did not handle the moment well at all.
Big step back for him.
Goff completely shit the bed, and you start a thread calling out Donald?
God, you’re such a fucking moron.
Absolute insufferable poster, brings no value here what so ever.
Goff looked shook the entire game and McVay was too blind to see that

Fukin clueless. We’ve got some knob saying Boselli was “very good for a few years” and now, BBIs worst talent evaluator talking about Donald’s stats.
Is it some kind of stupid routine or just stupid?

Isn’t he also the guy who said Barkley can’t break tackles?
In other words, he’s either a first rate troll or he really is that stupid.
In the top game.
But, tbh, I do like Stan because he seems like a genuine person (albeit with some misguided opinions).

So true. Stan’s advocacy of LoBalls is bizarre.
Phillips did a decent job although he let Edelman get free too much.

Phillips did an amazing job. He held the Pats to 13 pts with the offense providing little rest for the D.

Yup, fire and fly away OP is Stan's M.O.
