Doesn't matter...they'll go back to the Super Bowl again next year.
I hate everything.
oh the humanity...
Most likely New England goes 5-1 in division, gets a bye, crushes some pretender at home in the Divisional Round and then has two real games next year to see if they will be champs again.
Why they are the same odds as the Giants is very strange...
NYJ 100/1
ATL 28/1
PIT 22/1
LAC 20/1
Bets that look awful are
CHI 14/1
GB 18/1
SF 33/1
I am not being dismissive. I am not a gambler and am really curious. Is this something that people put money on?

Leicester City in EPL was 5,000/1 a couple year ago and ended up winning the EPL. Incedible story.

Every year. My friend and I pick 5 with longer odds prior to the pre-season. This year we had SD, BAL, IND, TEN, CAR, $50 per man spread evenly.
Having a few horses in the race in January makes it a lot more fun to watch.

like taking the Jets at 100:1.

I hope someone bet on that outcome! I guess someone must have...

For some reason, I think Tom Hanks of all freaking people did & won an absurd amount of $. I think that happened. I'm 98.5% positive I read a story saying as much.
yep, also those Giants at 40-1. Jumps out big time.

Seattle and Jacksonville jump out on that list.

Right. Because the giants have never ever ever ever had a great year before. And they never ever ever improved upon a bad season. All is lost. Might as well just relegate them.
Hanks' publicist, Michelle Margolis, confirmed to ESPN that Hanks was joking when he told a reporter last week that he wasn't as upset that his favorite team was relegated this season because he had placed a £100 bet ($145) on Leicester City. When the reporter asked Hanks, on the red carpet for his film "A Hologram For The King," if he was telling the truth at the time, he simply replied, "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't."
The largest known bet at the 5,000-to-1 odds was £50 ($72). That bettor settled with bookmaker Ladbrokes for $106,000 a month before Leicester won it all.
Had he waited, he would have made $362,000.
Representatives for three British sports books -- Ladbrokes, William Hill and BetFred -- told ESPN that Leicester City winning the title collectively cost them $11.4 million.
No single event in sports betting history that had odds as low as Leicester City's 5,000-to-1 had ever come through.

Seriously. Every freaking post is doom and gloom.
If the Giants jump off the page, it's because they should be in the 80-1 group.
14/1

The giants have made people rich by winning Super Bowls this same decade. That too, is fucking reality.
I’m sure you had the rams pegged to win 25 games over 2017-2018 after they had sucked for seemingly forever. Or the rams in 1999.
You want the Giants to be good, I get it. Wanting it doesn't make it so, though.
this made me chuckle...

How is Seattle 40-1, same as Jax and Giants? Do they expect Seattle to crash?
In reality, they reduced the odds on the Giants to ward off Giants bettors.
Surprised New Orleans is that low. Brees ain't getting younger and they died after week 13 or 14.
I hope you don't bet with that rationale.
What action of theirs did I criticize?
I'm pointing out that they aren't likely to win the Super Bowl next year, and 40-1 might not be a good bet. Where's the criticism?
There are about five or six of you guys that are way too sensitive to any remarks about this team that aren't positive.

But he's becoming a caricature @ this point. Everything this organization does, he criticizes.

1.) You criticize daily on virtually every post.
2.) Some may be too sensitive, but you have not stopped being a negative poster in quite a while. Quite frankly, you are so overbearingly critical and redundant that caricature is being kind. We get it, you don't like Shurmur or Gettleman or Mara.
Not saying you are profoundly wrong, but it gets old for the rest of us with you crapping on Shurmur and DG after one year, everyday, as if the shitshow was going to be fixed in one season.
But I'm also not doom & gloom & think that everything is just getting worse & worse. Let's give DG & Shurmur time to sort this stuff out & go from there. They've only been here 1 year.

All I'm asking....Org has been a mess since the last SB victory in 2012. It is the constant beratement - yes we get it, they have made a cluster eff of it for 1/2 decade. Not a thing anyone on BBI can do, except Eric....
That's what was thought last year also...

You think I should be banned?
Nobody is going to post something that isn't going to be attacked in some way or another.....
But some attack just because others don't follow the main stream......this team has performed at a level, that is has been criticized for the last 6 years.....
Players have not performed up to expectations.....the front office has screwed the pooch too many times....
I have commented on both, and have been more right than wrong.....but some on this board look at it as just being negative.....well, when your team plays like it has the last 6 years, outside of one season where the planets were aligned, it should be criticized.....everything I post isn't negative, but it's perceived to be....
Has DG and Shurm turned this team around?
It's debatable......
There are still people that defend Reese.....are they wrong?
It's a board.....open for discussion.....if you disagree with the poster, disagree.....but back it up, instead of the name calling.....there are some on this board, where that is their only weapon for debate.....
