Henry Baker leaves Rutgers to become NYG assistant DB coach

Defenderdawg : 2/4/2019 7:35 pm
“Baker, who previously served a minority coaching internship with the Giants, is on the move again less than two months after he was re-hired as Rutgers' cornerbacks coach and pass game coordinator. Baker coached at North Carolina last season; he had previously served as Rutgers' cornerbacks coach in 2017”

Henry Baker - Nasir Adderley

Interestingly, Henry Baker coached Nasir Adderley in 2015 and 2016 at Delaware.

from Baker's Rutgers bio
Quote:

"Baker coached cornerbacks for six seasons with the Blue Hens and served as special teams coordinator in 2012. In 2016, he was part of a defensive staff that ranked No. 19 nationally in fewest passing yards allowed per game (181.5), No. 21 in interceptions (15) and first overall as a team in fewest penalties per game (3.64). Baker helped mentor cornerback Nasir Adderley to Third Team All-Colonial Athletic Association."

The Giants will have an excellent idea of what safety Nasir Adderley brings to the table as a draft prospect.
And Henry Rutgers has left
