qb that high to sit him on the bench is a waste, a 1st round pick is expected to come in and play and contribute immediately, to sit him for 2 years is a huge waste!
A few guys have us taking Ford at 6. So, I would think there’s a close to zero percent chance he’s our guy in round 2.
You're probably right, but every year somebody falls. Some mock drafts had Landon Collins to the Giants in round 1. He dropped out of the round and they were able to trade up to get him at the top of round 2.

Who says he sits for 2 years? You? If our 1st Round QB sits 1 year big deal. You think this top pick will be the difference in us going to the playoffs next year.. lol the Giants aren’t going to the playoffs next year unless this pick turns into LT in his prime

Ford ain’t dropping. At worst he’ll be a top 15 pick. I can very well see a scenario where the Giants sign Daryl Williams and Frank Clark in the offseason and Draft Cody Ford(1st) and Deionte Thompson(2nd).
That Anthony Barr is a FA as well. That could be interesting. He projected much better as a 3-4 OLB than the 4-3 OLB he’s been playing in Minnesota. Could come relatively cheap too compared to the likes of Dee Ford, Clooney, and even Frank Clark.

Ford ain’t dropping..again says who? We haven’t even had a draft yet but somehow you people think you know where everybody is going
Giants sign Frank Clark and Daryl Williams all I can say on that is don’t hold your breath
But Ford is a top 3 tackle according to virtually everyone and while we haven't had the combine and pro days this isn't October. It'd be pretty amazing if he were there.
I doubt he is there in the 2nd Round, but if he is he would be a great pick even if they have already signed a FA RT. I see a lot of sites list him a Guard, but i don't know why, he looks great at RT.

I really want the Giants to draft Barr. He is a viable option to play OLB in our 3-4 defense. I wonder if he is a high character guy? Would we have to cut Vernon in order to sign him?

Are you drunk? One, having a QB sit doesn't set a franchise back. Holy shit. Did it have and adverse effect on Rodgers? Mahomes? And many others. Two, where the hell did 2 years come from?
See the Giant's trade back and not up. I don't love any of the quarterbacks at six and moving up is stupid. The WFAN keeps saying they need to, but no they need more than a quarterback. They need Offensive lineman or two, Pass rusher, free safety and another linebacker

We think this every year. And yet, every year, a player we think just can’t or won’t drop, does.

Yep Aaron Rodgers and Mahomes have destroyed their teams by sitting for a year or 2.
I hope KC and GB recover soon.

Eli sat ... Roders sat ... Brady Sat .. etc etc etc .... Letting a guy absorb especially the next in line to LEAD ... is the best way to go about it

George Clooney his Trannie might not want him playing Football
