This really isn't half bad - the talent level obviously isn't what it is in the NFL, but they're playing that type of game. It's not arena league or XFL shit.

If it’s the middle of winter and your local NBA and NHL teams suck and you’re waiting for baseball season, this is a solid alternative.

Yep, agreed -- be interested to see what they offer in 2020 -- they seem committed to more conventional football, but Vince McMahon answers to absolutely no one.
that this league could play with guys from NFL practice squads. I think it would really be great for those guys to play in some actual games as opposed to basically just sitting out the year except for practices.

Hopefully that means they're going to let these guys play a bit.

This game is moving along faster than an NFL game, too. Less commercials, quicker play clock. Anything to speed the game up and get it wrapped up in under 3 hours is a plus for me.

if you score you do get to run a 4th and 12 play from your own 28. That's supposed to give the same odds as an onside kick for getting another possession. (I'd say maybe more).

You can only send 5 pass rushers on any given play -- so if you screw up your blitz call and send more, it's a 15 yd penalty.
I think I heard that if you have more than 5 on the line, you can send more than 5. (So if you do play action on 1st and goal on the 1, more than 5 can come after your QB)

Nope! No kickoffs is awesome. The only thing that sucks is I am trained to use the after score break to get more food, use the bathroom, etc.
