This really isn't half bad - the talent level obviously isn't what it is in the NFL, but they're playing that type of game. It's not arena league or XFL shit.

And as a big fan of College Football, I can say that there IS some good talent out here. NFL talent? Eh.... but hey, I watch AAA and AA baseball too, so theres that.

If it’s the middle of winter and your local NBA and NHL teams suck and you’re waiting for baseball season, this is a solid alternative.

The problem was that it was oversold as a meaner, tougher alternative to the NFL, and it couldn't live up to that. Not with their funky rule changes, the T & A, and the pro-wrestling style "feuds" they tried to improvise.

Yep, agreed -- be interested to see what they offer in 2020 -- they seem committed to more conventional football, but Vince McMahon answers to absolutely no one.
that this league could play with guys from NFL practice squads. I think it would really be great for those guys to play in some actual games as opposed to basically just sitting out the year except for practices.
