how many teams with a high profile DIVA WR have won a championship? Michael Irvin maybe? He was a talker but I would take him over the guys we see today.

Productive? Yes... good for the "team"?

How about the Steelers with Santonio Holmes
Or the Giants with Plax

I'm with you arc. The Jets should be going hard after Brown and Bell. Get some playmakers on O for once. Give Darnold a chance. They could make the playoffs. They've got some good pieces on defense.

They are constantly in the playoffs. He's played in 10 playoff games over 6 season and has been one of if not these most productive WR's in football during that timespan. Saying they didn't win a championship is a really horrible argument to make against WR's or Brown.

Obviously things have gotten out of control there but there's definitely way more to this story than just Brown. Bell, Brown, Roethlisberger, and the HC have all been responsible for that locker room turning into what its been.
Trading for Brown would be a very smart move
NoGainDayne : 2/12/2019 4:08 pm : link
in signing Bell. Although if Connors season doesn't give you some pause on paying Bell all that money i'm not sure what would. (Bell is clearly very talented but Connor filled in very nicely and I do not think he is in the upper echelon in physical gifts)

This office quote also comes to mind

RE: saying your goodbye before you are actually traded.

"It's a bold move to Photoshop yourself into a picture with your girlfriend and her kids on a ski trip with their real father. But then again, Michael's a bold guy. Is "bold" the right word?"

You do realize there is no way to truly quantity this debate right? Nor is it even possible to determine which wr was a diva other than going on rumor and conjecture and the occasional display of idiocy.

I mean, take Marvin Harrison.
FStubbs : 2/12/2019 6:35 pm : link
He's a frightening human being but wasn't a "diva".

I think you have guys like Brown who disrupt locker rooms and guys like Beckham who are flamboyant but they aren't in the same category.

Michael Irvin fucking stabbed a teammate because he wouldn't get out of his barber chair. Brown is a pain in the ass in the locker room - Beckham is a pain in the ass to grumpy old men. Putting those two guys in the same class is a test of cognitive function.
I didn't mean to address that second part to you EricJ
Zeke's Alibi : 2/12/2019 8:24 pm : link
just in general to the knuckleheads whom keep comparing OBJ to AB.

Brown threw furniture out of a hotel window and nearly hit someone. If I got the story correct. That’s pretty damn bad.
FYI he’s doing a Q and A with fans right now on Twitter
