Wow, DK Metcalf is a beast!

Now Mike in MD : 2/12/2019 1:38 pm
Look at the size of this guy. Looks like a LB. I know he won't be available for the Giants in the 2nd round, but imagine a guy with his size and catch radius across from OBJ.

Looks ridiculous for a WR

I think some of these athletes need to consider a balance though cause you can't expect to be doing high impact sports with a build like that without tearing stuff. Then people wonder why there are so many ACL/MCL injuries.

Strong quadricep muscles can actually help protect from ACL injuries. Non-contact ACL injuries generally stem from poor mobility, flexibility, muscle recruitment patters, and genetics. People that have knee valgus are much more likely to tear ACL's (why women have this issue.)
The pic
Sy'56 : 2/12/2019 2:25 pm : link
screams lack of flexibility and ability to adjust. It is not impressive for a WR, it is actually damning.

If he can move to TE though....
The pic

screams PEDs and lots of them. Guys get suspended sometimes for this.

Are you talking about his size or the way he is holding himself. From a strictly size perspective, he is no bigger than Boston was, who was a pretty fluid athlete. If you mean the way he is holding himself, it could be because all of the WRs in the pic are clearly flexing.
The receiver that I like to see in blue is N'keal Harry. He's got

size, speed, quicks and receiving skills.

The size David Boston got to is what eventually made him a poor WR
Shows how little people

Know about physical development when a picture of someone standing upright show a lack of flexibility.
Muscle hypertrophy =/= inflexibility.

While this is true, muscle hypertrophy can exacerbate inflexibility. Irregardless, his upper body is way too big and is going to have a negative effect on his agility.

Sy....his plan may be to move to TE considering his productivity as a WR pretty much sucked.
All these guys are ridiculously jacked

that muscle mass can protect from injury was way off. Do we need to worry about Barkley's ridiculous thighs and calves? I always thought they would protect against injury. Serious question.
The guy in back is clearly trying to

It comes from the old wives tale that bodybuilding makes you 'muscle bound'. If the person stretches often and well, they are as flexible or even more so than the average person.
Well another wives tale is looking jacked

Some have him as yhe 3rd best WR so it's not just the build. He has produced
The guy two over from DK in the pic is AJ Brown,

I have him as my #1 WR. He has the H/W/S to be a dominant #1 WR in the NFL.

And I'm not going to overanalyze this because, well, I can't, but I would think being this big would hinder explosiveness and would actually support the idea that he may be too stiff.

Their other WR, DeMarkus Lodge, is a good WR prospect in his own right and their TE, Dawson Knox, while vastly underutilized at Ole Miss, is an extremely intriguing prospect.
Hate to say it but...

Reminds me of a bigger Dez Bryant ...
Imagine him opposite of Odell...
