NFT: 'Breaking Bad' Movie Is a Sequel Starring Aaron Paul

Sounds good to me. "...the Breaking Bad movie will be written by original series creator Vince Gilligan, who will exec produce the project alongside franchise collaborators Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein. Gilligan, sources say, will direct the film, which will follow the escape of a kidnapped man (Paul's Jesse) and his quest for freedom."

No word if Cranston is involved, but he said he'd be open to it.

That really cheapens things, IMO. Not sure how I feel about this in general, Aaron Paul is an annoying actor, a full dose of him can get stale but maybe for a 2 hour move it will be passable.

I read that Cranston was going to be involved. Whether that's just for flashbacks or he survived was unknown.

on AMC/Netflix. I wouldn't be surprised if they stretch this out and get a mini-season of like 6-8 episodes.

Correct. I am pretty sure he is 100% in it. What role is not known though and many believe, like you said, that it'll be flashbacks.

"It's a great story and there are a lot of people who felt that they wanted to see some kind of completion to some of these storylines that were left open [in the series finale]," Cranston said. "This idea, from what I'm told, gets into those � at least a couple of the character show were not completed, as far as their journey."

...this includes finding out if Huell ever gets to leave that hotel room...
