Can we go for 19 in a row tonight? I say Yes!

The Hawks suck, but don't suck as much as people thought they were going to coming into the year. Young's played better of late, Collins is a good player, & Dedmon is a good guy to man center.

After tonight's clash, no more games for 8 days until we host the Wolves at MSG.

TANK! TANK! TANK!
Maybe Knox can find his shot tonight.

Nyg included. The last two years have been so miserable for knicks and nyg fans. This summer feels like a summer 20 years in waiting...I mean you couldn’t script a more dramatic offseason to come here. The coverage and hype will be off the charts. NFL FA isn’t too far away. April we’ve got baseball and the NFL draft. May it’s NBA lotto and June brings the madness. Let’s go already.

The Knicks have a lot of spare parts that would really pay off if they ever got the star power in here. Shit load of young ascending talent even worst case they’d have plenty of ditch diggers to compliment the max guys.

Willing to give up a 2nd rounder, even if it’s the 55th pick, it’s addition by subtraction. Now we are going to have 4 guys fighting for minutes at pg or you can say 6 guys fighting for 2 guard spots between Allen, Smith jr, Frank, Mudiay, trier and Dotson.
Isn't Mudiay a free agent at the end of the season?

I understand wanting to get something for him, but how could you if (a) he hasn't looked all that great, (b) he's currently hurt and (c) he would be a rental for two months. We didn't even get anything for Kanter and he's a useful player on the right team.

Of course, the one game I miss, they win. Looking at the box score, Kornet shot terribly but he was an impressive +17 with 4 steals from the PF position. Anyone who saw the game have some thoughts on how he played? It's a weird stat line. And we actually outrebounded someone.

If the knicks actually do get two Max's that is something that can really happen. All those first won't get used by the Knicks. They'll be used to flesh out the roster into a contender.

I would 100% do it and I've been pro-rebuild for a good decade now. But 5th or 6th pick isn't likely a big player in this draft.

You can’t lose them all. If they win cause first or second year guys play well then you can’t help it. If they win because of vets then they are fucking up.

I wonder how the Knicks view the PG situation with Smith and Frank under contract, and Kyrie and Kemba available in free agency? I think they would take Ja if he's BPA, but I'm not sure about Garland - they may veer toward a wing player.

if they DID sign Durant and another star, Dre Hunter would be an excellent complementary piece on a good team. He has good size and wingspan (6'8", 7'2"), good defender who can guard some 2s and 4s in addition to 3s, very good shot (51% overall/41% on threes career stats) and has all the intangibles - smart kid, hard working, good BBIQ.

If they end up with the 8th pick after this season, Silver needs to just step in and do something.

Even with all the Knicks failures, that would be rock bottom.
