Help with perspective on a stat

I recently read (and many of you probably already knew) that the Giants haven't drafted an offensive lineman who appeared in the Pro Bowl for any team since Chris Snee was drafted in 2004. Sounds awful. But given how Pro Bowl slots for offensive lineman seem to get engraved in stone for years, I bet there is less turnover in those positions at the Pro Bowl compared to others. So my question is, are the Giants among only a handful of teams with that crappy record, or are there in fact many teams experiencing that kind of "drought"?
Good question

It’s hard to evaluate individuals on an o-line because the if there’s a weak link the unit as a whole will play badly and usually overshadow the individual play of a good lineman. Not many teams have 5 really good linemen, so a majority of clubs are in the “need” category. Everyone is trying to assemble that elusive solid five, PLUS good backups. It’s a tall order.
