Great win today. Down 29-10, Lj Figueroa and Heron refused to let us lose. Simon came up big too missed free throws aside in 1st half. The 2nd half had th he garden rocking, which is big with the recruits in the building. Finish strong Johnnies
they're a lock for the tournament. They have no bad losses, and have swept Marquette and Creighton, and have a win over Villanova. If they win 3-5 more they could be looking at a 6-7 seed.

DePaul is a bad loss and losing to G'Town and Providence isn't great but a sweep of Marquette and a win over Nova cancels those out. The Big East isn't that strong this year so they need to be 10-8 in the conference to be a lock (win 3 of the next 5)

DePaul is 13-10 and 5-8 in the Big East. It's not a "bad" loss. Neither is Providence.
with over 20 wins, and 3 top 15 wins and not really any glaring losses, will not be kept out of the tournament.
I'd agree but you have to make it snub-proof/beyond doubt and a .500 record in conference play in a conference that isn't great doesn't make it snub-proof. I could see a scenario where they went 2-3 in the last 5 games, with a loss to Seton Hall, a loss in the first round of the Big East tournament, and no spot in the big dance with a 21-11 overall record and 9-9 conference record (a snub).
Jerry Palm has STJ all the way up to a 7 seed but Lunardi has them as a 10 (ESPN didn't update yet so I'd imagine they'd be higher than 10 after a Villanova win)
on a neutral court which was basically a St. John's home game.
Should have never gone to OT in the first place, so VCU can only blame themselves for that.
But on a potential game winning 3 in OT as time expired, down by one, Evan's arm was hit so hard the ball when straight up in the air and didn't even make the basket.
Sorry, that was a really bad call. Sh-t happens, though.
