I don't watch much college ball, but was checking out D. Haskins highlights and noticed every throw was made from the Shot gun formation. Do most college QB's work strictly out of this formation and will they have the same similar results working from under center?
The biggest thing with taking snaps under center is not getting the snaps or working on your footwork. It is turning your back to the defense during playaction and being able to snap your head around and being able to quickly diagnosing the defense and where the ball should go. Those things are hard to learn at the NFL level because of the limited practice time and contact in those practices.
