Anybody other TWD fans just not feeling it this season? I’m drifting in and out and haven’t latched onto any of the current story lines nor to many of the newly-featured characters. Hate to say it but I’m losing interest. What about you?

I only watched most of the seasons because it was a comedy zombie show - so bad it's entertaining. but the comedy factor is pretty stale now, like a joke you've heard ten times already. Plus, folks here get pissed off when you comment on the eye roll moments of the show, so that aspect of enjoying the show is gone.
but like a junkie, I'll catch up on the episodes, and pray that the show gets cancelled and puts me out of my misery.
I stopped feeling it 2 years ago. Was such a fun show to watch when it first came out. Really was great. It went off the tracks with Alexandria and the group just before that....all build up and a 30 minute resolution.
The show got stale two years ago, but like many others I watched it because I felt invested and I hoped for some magical turnaround.
I didn't even realize it had started up again, and I have no desire to watch it. I came on here partially hoping (with no good basis) that the comments would be "Wow! So much better!" Not surprised that it seems like it is just more people hate watching it than anything else.
I don't know what the ratings are and don't care enough to look, but how much longer can this run with such poor writing and new characters?
Same scenario as WD but much lighter with great characters and comic relief. Two smokin female leads and the old Stoner Doc, Murphy the 1/2 human 1/2 Zombie make it much more enjoyable than the dark and hopeless WD.
I think there is potential with the new story line..... Â
I’ve said for a while that the Directors and writers are more intent on impressing themselves.
If they just stuck to the storyline from the comics it would have been much better. That's where they f things up, when they take liberties and try to make it their own.
about sh*tty people instead of about good people trying to survive the zombies. They kept creating increasingly crappy bad guys and their gangs of miscreants and started to ignore the whole zombie apocalypse thing which was where the fun was for me.

Not long after Negan or whatever his (their) name was. Every time the good or bad guys would launch into the same tired dialogue I’d want to kick the tv in. We get it.... the moral dilemmas and woe is me and woe is us and I don’t know if I can continue this way or I can’t be evil anymore or I can’t avoid being evil this world is evil and bla bla bla fucking bla. The show and plot got so fucking boring and lazy. I had no problems suspending belief, but shit just got boring.
