Charley Casserly 2019 NFL mock draft 1.0: Three QBs in Round

don't think we'll see a single mock draft from now on that doesn't have the Giants taking Haskins.

I mean the only consistency is Bosa and Williams.

Players rise up the draft board as the draft approaches. This year feels different. Really thinking about Williams OT, Gary DE, Oliver DT. But also Watkins DT, Ferrell DE, Allen DE, Greg Little OT.

QB is a mixed bag. D Jones QB has fallen out of favor instead of rise. But Lock was a riser. Murray and Haskin too, it just happened a while ago. I was thinking more as the draft approached then what the rankings were at declare time of year.

Oh I should probably clarify that I wasn’t talking about this mock draft in particular. It’s actually the opposite, I noticed how he still had these guys rank high and had other OT’s climbing the board and it got me think about how other were trending different.

Last year it was pretty overwhelming with Barkley at #2 for any mockster that believed what the media guys close to the team were saying rather than their own opinion on what the Giants should do.

And the Giants have the 5th pick coming up in round 2.

Scratch Ford, he's gone to the Jags at 6. But the LSU CB Greedy Williams is still available. As is Lock, I really don't see him slipping into the 2nd round, and Jones getting picked at 15...

So the Giants draft Haskins and the Dolphins take the best QB in the draft seven picks later.

the Giants will have the pick of the qb litter at #6.....

This is a little silly....

First off, it's more gross hyperbole.

Second, the current GM has only been here for one draft. We took the best player on the board. What are we complaining about?

Everyone knew we were drafting Odell Beckham?

I don't recall that.

I definitely cant recall a whole bunch of people talking about Odell Beckham in the draft. What I recall is a lot of people complaining about a short punt return guy.
