I guess playing the odds one of these guys stick isn't the worst idea at this point.
And let's face it: it's worked out for Mudiay and Vonleh. They're having career years. And Burke rejuvenated his career here...well, got BACK in the league.
Am I right that if they sign two max guys they will need Â
a bunch of guys on minimum contracts? We're sure accumulating a bunch of JAGs.
Not even sure how to comment on this? Would you rather we not get two max guys and sign overpriced average talent?
To answer your question, yes and no. We would have Knox, Robinson, Trier, Dotson (I think), DSJ, Frank, Thomas, and maybe another player. I cannot remember. If we sign 2 max players then we can also get a room exception player. I forgot how much that is. Plus our first round pick. How many roster spots are there are an NBA team? Up to 15? That is 10 or 11 players not on the vet min.
but there is no chance that Ellenson is better then Kanter. Kanter has been a fairly productive nba player for awhile now. Ellenson has played ehh in the G-League. Does he have a role on the team, sure maybe, but he is a worse basketball player then kanter, ha.

there will defonitely be ring chasers on the team but as long as they are not trading for AD this team will have some good young talent
If we trade for Anthony Davis we'd have to give up most of those players so in that case we'd have 3 max players and most likely a bunch of mins.
Because Kanter blew. Definition of a losing player. Even if Ellenson doesn't play a minute he'll be better than Kanter.
Anyway, shades of Kanter...

Haha, fair, but at least Ellenson has range and a handle
Ellenson's game is reminiscent of Kanter's in the same way Kevin Knox's game is of Dwight Howard's
