reminds me of Curry (not Steph or even Seth, but Dell - mediocre athletically, but a shooter who knows how to move off the ball, also good size with long arms)
I am curious how AD is a possibility. I read that if we are under the cap se don't have to fit money. Well, how is that possible. If we trade for AD when would it occur? If we cannot trade our first round pick until 30 days after he is signed then FA would have started so we would most likely habe KD and KI signed (assuming that is what happens). We have approximately 71 mil in cap space. I think KD will be somewhere around 35 or 36 mil. Kyrie will be about 31 or 32. Lets be generous and say it is 35 and 31. That is 66 mil. That gives us 5 mil to play with. AD is making, what, 28? That means we would have to send back 23 mil to be under the cap and not have to worry about any 120 plus 100,000 rule. Where is the 23 mil coming from? Oh, we'd be over the cap if we signed our first round pick, correct? So we would have to be in the 120% rule, correct?
30 days after the draft, even if it was agreed to before that. This is what happened with Wiggins/Love. Then you pretty much add in every contract 1st round pick, DSJ, Thomas, Robinson, knox, etc.. You can get there but its pretty much every player on the team, lol

Yeah, I said that the other day and I was told Inwas wrong because we were under the cap and wouldn't have to match salaries. But by the time we can get AD and take on his salary we would be over the cao hence we'd have to follow that 120 plus 100,000 rule.
first round pick: 10
knox and frank: 8
dotson and trier: 4
that your 22 right there
But if we sign our first round pick and he is 10 then we are over the cap.
Maybe I am just mixing two things because it was said we wpuld not have to follow rhe 120% plus 100,000 rule because we'd be under the cap. That isn't true though because once we got AD we'd almost definitely be over the cap. But after we sign our draft pick we'd be over it anyway.
So, i just looked up AD's 2019/2020 salary. It is $27,093,019. Subtract 100,000 to get $26,993,019. Then divide that number by 1.2 and you get $22,494,182.5. So,I see where you are getting that 22 number from. It is more like 22.5.

99 million, how are you over, first pick slot is factored already into their 74 million in space
Isn't the cap room 71 and not 74? And it doesn't matter if we aren't over. If we take on AD and go over then we still have to abide by that rule.
And you didn't include Noah's 6+ mil. I think you have to count Thomas' 7.5+ mil. And you also have to count any cap holds as well so, yeah, we'd be over the cap.
He is around 7 mil but only 1 is guaranteed. I cannot say I have seen that before in the NBA. So what number counts? Is it the 1 or the 7?
If they keep him, 7. If they cut him, 1.
That is the tricky part. Do we need to cut him to sign our first round pick, KD, and KI? If we do then we cannot use his 7 mil in a trade for AD. So it would almost have to include our first round pick, Knox, DSJ, and Trier. Just to get close to that 22.5 mil.

yes i forgot the 6.5
so 105 million..
no you count the 1 million, knicks will cut him before his guarantee date...
so you are still 5 million under, meaning only have to send back 22 million...
plus dotson and trier are non guaranteed so if knicks have to they can cut him..
doubles (Trier)
triples (Robinson)
obviously the home run attempt comes this summer via FA
At the min it doesn't reall affect much.
