NGT: What are you best fits for AB

superspynyg : 2/20/2019 12:14 pm
Its a boring snowy in the north and rainy in the south day...
With AB's departure from Steelers what top 3 teams would be his best fit? And why?

mine
49ers
Oak
Colts

In San Fran he would be a huge up grade for young Garappalo to throw to. If they give up a high 2nd round pick, the 9ers could then shore up the oline and add to the def secondary with picks in rd 1 and rd 3. they have 65 mil in cap space.

With Oakland They need all the help they could get. Oak has 3 1st rd picks and a high 2nd rnd. Thy use their 2nd round to get AB and use the 1st round picks on def and oline. Carr needs the help. Plus they have 71 mil in cap space.

Colts....Imagine Luck throwing to AB and Ty?? Plus a good run game with Mack. Their oline is awesome with Nelson, Castanzo, Braden, Kelley and Haeg. They also have a whopping 107 mil in cap space.

Yours?

NE - Brady/BB would keep him in line and they need someone to replace the (likely) retiring Gronk and his playmaking. And BB isn't afraid to go after top talent that's being "sold" cheaply for various reasons (Moss, Ochocinco, Gordon, etc)

NYJ - Desperately need some weapons if they want to give Darnold the best chance to succeed

DAL - much better player than Cooper and would really loosen up Ds to help them do what they want to do running the ball. Luckily I'm guessing the Cooper deal will prevent them making a move here.

CAR - Newton's never really had a legit WR. Adding Brown would help create more space for CM underneath too.

AZ - see NYJ

that's more than 3

top 3 would be NE, NYJ, and AZ
Colts

he'd likely win the quickest there, he's get to be the #1 without any other interference, they have money and they have the best QB of the teams who'd be trading for him (assuming someone like NE isn't interested).
107 mil in cap space???
Rocky369 : 2/20/2019 12:28 pm : link
looks like almost 50m in rollover. What's the deadline/expiration for rollover, aside from the 4-5 year window to spend a certain amount?
Steelers aren't trading him to the pats

49rs seem like a good spot
What about the Redskins?

I don't think Ballard like guys with character issues. On paper, I think your point is valid, but there is a very different culture there under Ballard...

Redskins WRs blow, so from that perspective they make sense, but they have a major hole at QB right now...

And limited cap space I believe
Cap space by team

IND, NYJ, BUF, SF?

Remember Brown has no say in this...

Houston - teaming up with Hopkins plus they have the cap space.

Seattle - would be the best WR Wilson ever played with.

Indi - Luck and AB
Thanks for the Salary Cap link

Remember when the Jags were spending like drunken sailors? Now they have -2mil in cap space. LOL!!

Remember when the Jets had none?
Now they have 102 mil. They need to get some talent for their young QB. Too bad both Bell and AB are nuts.
I think Green Bay
YAJ2112 : 2/20/2019 3:08 pm : link
would be a good place for AB. Out of conference for the Steelers, they need another WR to go with Adams, and have the franchise QB in place.

Is any team in better shape than Indy? Great ownerships, coaches, Luck, young talent, the most cap space AND tons of draft picks!
