At least Ourlads got about a third of their description right about Haskins. Indeed, Haskins was throwing to at least 4 NFL receivers. But he was also being protected by at least 3 NFL OLs. And his TE is likely a pro.
We need to apply the same standard to Fromm, Lawrence and Rua next year though.
Agree re: Fromm. I think he's overrated as a top ten QB. Good prospect? Sure. But I don't see anything excellent.
Lawrence is an absolute stud. His talent pours out of the TV. The worst team in the ACC Coastal division was UNC. If they had Lawrence they win that division. He's definitely a legit difference maker.
Tua is a left-handed Russell Wilson. So, like Lawrence, I think he has the skills and intangibles to lift almost any team to a winning program.
Not sure it’s a guarantee that Fromm leaves UGA next year for the NFL, especially if UGA doesn’t reach the final four. I’d be willing to bet that Herbert and possibly Eason, if he decides to go pro, would be rated higher than Fromm. I think Fromm has a chance to be a solid pro but lacks some physical attributes to be very good.
Same people who say "Don't draft Haskins" lose their mind when some team trades up to 5 and drafts him ahead of us.
All I hope is DG 1 year removed from cancer treatment and knowing much more about what he has, has a much better off season than he did last year. He can't let talent go like he did last year and he can't bring in substandard player like the right guard we cut in mid-season.
I wonder if people realize he had a new OC in 2918 in a new offense
I didn't think it was that bad, actually. I'd categorize it as reasonable. He does have some footwork issues and I sort of see the issue about his front shoulder. To me, his tendency to look at the rush when things got dicey was/is a bigger concern.
The completion %/one read comment was a bit strange. Lock did improve every year in completion %. So that is a very big positive to me. As a frosh he was at 49%. This senior year he finished at 63%.

Oh, and he had 2 NFL RBs behind him.
the good news? we have professional level players too!!!
jokes aside, he will be surrounded by a ton of talentr. iff he is a good passer, he will shred
Charles Omenihu.
Austin Bryant.
Imagine the things Bill Belichick would devise for him while he waits behind Brady for a few years.
