Bilas as the commentator, Jay Williams as halftime analyst, and probably Mrs. K serving as sideline reporter. I get the Zion hype, but man ESPN is over the top with him & Duke.
I know so many of you are Duke haters. Why be anxious and sad when Duke wins? Just on board and you'll be happy 23 times and sad only twice...so far.
And don't give me of this evil empire crap if you are a Yankee fan.
Should be fun
I was going to ask you why you’re such a Duke fan. But bringing up their record already validates what I already suspected...
And for the love of God, stop bringing up the Yankees. This is the third or fourth time I’ve seen you bring them up as a comparison. There is an enormous difference, particularly when you’re talking about this site. This site is mainly northeast based as far as posters and their origins. The Yankees in this region are largely generational. People here are Yankees fans because their fathers were Yankees fans, their grandfathers were Yankees fans, etc. it’s in our DNA. Many of us have also been through the horrible 80’s and early ‘90’s. I was born in the ‘70’s and my entire time through my early twenties was spent rooting for a dumpster fire. So don’t give me this shit about the Yankees. We’ve earned the right to root for that team. All you did was decide that Duke wins a lot so you’re jumping on board. Fuck off with that shit. Duke can kiss my ass. And so can every one of their fake ass fans.

Some of my earliest memories were sitting around watching Yankee games with my uncles. When my Grandmother babysat me, we'd watch the Yankees. "Hey Graig Nettles - this Bud's for you!"
I was raised on the yankees, much like I was raised on the Giants and Rangers.
Pull for the Yanks, because I use to watch games with my grand father. He was a Dodgers fan from Brooklyn. Even once the moved out west he supported them. To make it interesting, and to get his goat, I pulled for the Yankees. Plus we live in New Jersey, so it all worked out in good fun
10 minutes to go against Duke wasn't just the high point for Louisville in that game, it may have been the high point of their season. Getting housed by 'Cuse.
until I hear the talking heads using the same line for the last forty-plus years:
"The thing about Syracuse is their match-up zone. If you haven't played against it, it can cause real problems. That's what I think they can do some damage in this tournament..."
Yup. Didn’t look good going down. Blew out his sneaker and probably tweaked his knee
I hope he's OK. It did not look good. The shoe should not have done that. I am not sure who Duke's shoe contract is with but I suspect they are already writing press releases.

My comparison between Duke and the Yankees meant no disrespect. I was just trying to say that I would think a Yankees fan would understand how when have a blind kind of hatred for the team. Duke fans endure some of that. If they were losers, nobody would care. That's all I was trying to say.
consensus number one. I think Barrett is the better pro prospect.
I'm faaaaaaaaaaar from an basketball guru, but I couldn't disagree more. Barrett is a volume scorer. Sure he can beat you in many different ways, but he misses too many shots, has an unreliable 3 point shot and is an average defender. Zion is way more efficient.
has a busted knee you can't even think about taking him first. If you want to get Durant and say Irving, you can't punt a season.
And Zion's game is basically 100% reliant on athleticism. And he's enormous to begin with, that kind of weight with his athleticism is going to put a lot of stress on those knees, if he has a blown knee already, I would not take him top 3.
I want Ja Morant or Barrett. Think both will be terrific pros. I'd take Zion 3rd.
Although Zion (if healthy) on a team with Durant and Kyrie would fit like a glove. His weakness would be totally covered up. If Zion is healthy he will always be a good player, but I dont see him being a #1 star on a title team, no matter what ESPN wants you to believe he's no where even near LeBron at this age. On the right team he'd be worth the #1 pick, but on most teams I'd take Morant or Barrett before him.
I think Morant is going to be a better version of Westbrook

Saw some stat where after all these years of this rivalry, this scoring difference was only 3 points. Just remarkable.

You don't know anything about me. I went there. Record has nothing to do with it.

I get the Zion hype, but Barrett is Duke's leading scorer. I've only seen highlights of Morant, but he looks incredible.
Because it's Zion, we think it has something to do with him.

RJ Barrett, Zion, Ja Morant. I'll be happy with either one being on the Knicks.

Barrett takes wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more shots than Zion does

That is the truth.
At least they can see Jack White miss a bunch of threes
Would it not by typical Knick bullshit if Zion seriously injured his knee tonight (think ACL) and then the Knicks win the lottery?
The way he grabbed his knee he'll be lucky if it is only this game.

Zion is out for the game

Even if he is healthy, he shouldn't play again this season. Take off the rest of the season and prepare for the Draft.

He can't. He'll balloon up to 350. Haha.

Haha, Michael Sweetney Part II
(if he blew out his knee)

Enjoy the 3 point brickfest
And probably a six year-old Vietnamese child, but that's another issue.
What about your boy, Hunter?
