In the first 4.30 I decided this podcast was useless and more than that annoying.

Snow whites little brother kyler Murray? That’s what you say about a guy because he’s 5’8? You call him a dwarf.

Deseen Jackson? Umm he was one of the biggest giant killers of all time. He’s been a good nfl player for years. His name is desean.

May as well name the giants the NJ giants if NYG don’t take Haskins and he’s there at 6. Because the NY fans will rebel and disown the giants ?

I know Dave te is a respected member here and puts a lot of time into scouting and delivering quality 411 over the years..This podcast he sounds like an uninformed fan that wanted to hear himself talk who just read some espn headlines on veteran players w high salaries.

Could not disagree more. His unfunny NJ Giants joke or the way he pronounces DeSean doesnt disprove he knows his stuff. Is he a bit weird? Yeah, he is, but who wants to listen to the same old generic/boring draft guys... that have the same evaluations as the rest of the main stream media.. This guy is a veteran scout and he is dropping some real knowledge and trying to entertain us a little while he does it... But these are great listens and if you stop knit picking the guy, it should be clear as day that he knows his stuff.

Hey, I have thick skin-thanks for the criticism. That is what this forum is all about, right. You can't agree with everything everyone says, but I do encourage all to let their voices be heard.
I do take one exception - uninformed. sometimes, I am too informed & need to keep things in-house, but dude, if you have any thoughts on the front office brass, let everyone know.
As for how I might pronounce a few names - dude - born & bred in Brooklyn - look up Norm Cosby - I mispronounce a million things - that is why I sometimes need a translator.

Little front office love fest going on - watch Big Blue show Day 3 attention to Bama's Christian Miller - kid has a really good motor - just got lost in all the limelight up front with Williams & Buggs there at level one. Speaking of Williams - he's my top guy in this draft - so much upside in that youngster.
NOW-if he slides down (doubt it) to the Giants, boy, will that be a heavy discussion in their war room. I also have Lawrence-Clemson as my #2 DT over Oliver. Don't know your thoughts, but Oliver seems to be more Glenn Dorsey than Aaron Donald.

Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, I am weird! Geez, I have to be to do reports for all four sports. The thing is, I am NOT a draft analyst. I just tell people to take the 4-year rule when evaluating a guy.
Year One-learn the playbook
Year Two-apply what you learned
Year Three-you need to be part of the first unit
Year Four-if not, look over your shoulder - your team is drafting your competition in camp
If I say something that is "outside the box," like wine, let it sit on the shelf a bit. Hey, good or bad comments is all good where I am sitting. After all, this is the best FB forum out there & yes, a lifelong Giants fan, born & bred in East New York - you don't get any ornery than that!

What and Wilkins on Clemson? I liked what I saw from him in the games that mattered.

Thanks for helping to keep these offseasons interesting for us.

Two quick questions for now if you dont mind answering them.

1. Other than Haskins, what other players do you see the Giants strongly considering with pick no.6?

2. Any quick take/thoughts on WR Hakeem Butler (1 of my favorites in this draft) and LB Devin White (is White the real deal?)

I tried listening to the podcasts last year, but your schtick was just too much for me. Kind of like listening to Tony Kornheiser.

Wilkins is my #3 guy, but Lawrence tops him by a hair. Now, Ferrell is their best DL guy, but Lawrence has a lot of Ty Warren in his game

White is a stud & I would not burn my Giants jersey if they took him at #6. Still, if they can snatch Quinnen Williams (highly unlikely), oh boy, him & BJ Hill could be dominant. I think the concern on Haskins is his slow reading process, thus why OSU was 115th of 129 teams scoring from the red zone last year. I see JAX as a potential trade up team for Haskins, even though most have anointed Foles as the Jags next QB.
I think the top four will go Bosa, Williams, Josh Allen, Dez White in no particular order. TB is the wild card, as they need a runner, but Jacobs is not #5 material. In Day 2 action, the Giants have a lot of interest in McGovern at Penn State, as he has starting time at ROG & OC

typo-Devin White. As for Butler? Indy will dictate if the big man goes into RD 2 consideration but I love his physicality. Just your thought-he remind you of the Lions Kenny Golladay for that great stiff-arm ability? Still, from the info they have gathered, do not be surprised if Bill & NE pounce on Butler no later than RD 2, even in a possible trade up. With his size, they can use him as a motion guy. The man they really want is TE TJ Hockenson, but he will be off the board before Pats jump in at the end of RD 1. Butler is the type of "I gotta have" guy that will more than live up to his Anquon Boldin comparrison

Born 1954, lived on Shepherd/Glenmore first & was at St. Rita's. Moved in 1965 to Liberty/Jerome & went to St. Michaels. Moved to Howard Beach when I got married in 1974. My fave times were snow days. Grab the sled, go past Highland Park & come off the resevoir down Snake Hill - terror incorporated. when we moved to Liberty Avenue, the smell from A&D Bakery was a great way to wake up from a slumber!
My Mom went to St Michaels too

Dave, first thanks for your input, another ENY kid here! Lived on Berriman between Pitkin and Glenmore, moved to Crescent between Blake and Sutter. Baptized at St Rita’s, went to St Fortunata. Then moved to OZ! Small world!

FRED-If your mom is still alive, as her if she remembers that funny Italian lady across the school on Liberty Avenue that had coffee and donuts every morning for the girls (she let them all in, sort of protector). That was my grand mom! In fact, that was how I met my late wife - over coffee in the kitchen!
