The longer the guys on our target list last the likely the lower the price will be.
Collins was obviously pretty well thought of ..in the right role he is a very good player. Bettcher's system did not highlight that role well apparently.

mathieu isnt really a lesser player....collins is one dimensional. mathieu is pretty versatile

Lesser player is debatable. Collins is going to get 11-12 mil per year... he is cheaper than Collins.
Agreed - especially since they need at least two! It's amazing how depleted they are on the defensive side of the football.

I am glad the Giants are not paying LC that money. He was a good player, but not nearly worth that.
