and his 2016 season was one of the best single seasons by a Giants defensive player we’ve ever seen. Also played through injury during our lost season in 2017, when some other guys were quitting.

Glad we didn’t pay him that much and look forward to seeing Saquon run by him, but no ill will towards him. I hope he plays really well in a lot of Redskins losses.

Sorry to see him go, but glad we didn’t give him that contract. Now, I have to find another jersey to buy.

in that 2016 season. A true all-pro, made so many plays. Kept a good attitude and played hard while many were checking out around him the last two seasons. Will always appreciate him for that. Happy he got paid, happier that it wasn't us to do it

With all our TE coverage issues it would be nice to get one back and see EE take advantage of him now that he's on the other side

Some of ..really most of the posters really know their stuff. I agree with the majority here. I am so happy the redskins are wasting 14 million of their cap dollars on this in the box safety. He was targeted quite often on big passing downs and really didn't hold up all that well. Eh cover safety and good against the run. I would have been happy to sign him for like 4 and 30 at 7.5 per season with like 18 million guaranteed.

I wouldn't have paid him that much either, but there's no reason to shit on him on the way out the door.

If anything, it'll really suck to see him play well for a team in the division, even if he is overpaid.

I hope he does well, but I hope they continue to suck.

playmaking coverage FS. He would have been even better playing next to someone like that. But the Giants have ignored that much like they're ignored LBs and OTs until recently.

Just lived his leadership, his attitude, his overal presences, he just looks and plays the parts! He is prototypical safety. He will be missed. Don’t know why some people here did not like him or his play?? Bottom line that kind of money, I would of let him go too. Giants did the right thing.

And always thought he’d be a Giant for a long time. But all this stuff coming out about his apparent lifetime dream to play for the Skins just makes me feel he didn’t seriously want to be here. He wanted to be a Redskin. So fuck him and enjoy working for Daniel Snyder.
