the supposed $10 mil a season he was after. One thing they are doing there is surrounding Allen with Veterans who can help him and will know their roles and responsibilities.
was hoping Dallas would overpay for that massively overpaid player. Unfortunately they were smart to let him walk, especially at that ridiculous price.

Unfortunately Beasley is 5'8" so when Allen throws the ball about 5 feet wide of him he can't do much about it.
Good. I couldn't stand that annoying turd in Dallas.
We do have to play Buffalo anyway this year, though... so he'll still find a way to piss me off.
The Cowboys could have broken huddle on 3rd down, announced to the Giants defense, "We're throwing it to Beasley!", and they still would have converted 80% of the time.
He is the next ideal small little white bread WR (outside of Braxton Berrios)
If he was smart, that's where he should have told his agent to get him. 100 receptions guaranteed.
Pats usually sign those guys before they make a name for themselves. Paying Beasley $8M per year is shitty value. Paying Edelman $5.5M per year is solid value.
Amendola was the big mistake they made since even if he stayed healthy he was unlikely to outperform his deal.

More productive than Crowder.
Quote:
That is an awful signing by Buffalo. Soon to be 30 year old tiny receiver. Good like trying to catch passes from a QB with no natural accuracy.

Not over the course of his career no. Also one is 30 at the start of the season and the other will be 26.

The Pats aren’t paying anything like that to Cole Beasley. They will find some UDFA who will be better for a fraction of the cost at that position
