Just talked to Odell Beckham Jr, who said he had a “brief” convo w/Dave Gettleman. “At this point I have no idea what to think. I’m trying to process it right now.” Said leaving #NYG is “bittersweet, but it is what it is. It’s life.”

More than the Giants can say.
"No guts no glory"
There's something to be said about the balls it takes to make a move like this. You know it's gonna be unpopular. You know it's gonna be a large part of your legacy and if you are in fact wrong, you're never gonna live it down. And you pull the trigger anyway. I was as shocked as anyone when i saw the pinned thread but fuck it, I'm in. Let's see what happens.
Yeah but he is playing in Cleveland.
You are so fuckin dumb it’s astounding.
Isn't this exactly why he got fired in Carolina?? Because the Vets couldn't trust a thing he said??
It's one thing to be coy. It's another to be disingenuous.
Easier that sending Eli packing and he will be gone soon enough.

My take exactly
this is peak irony usage of the term 'emotional intelligence'.

And good riddance to him.

He wasn't disingenuous. He said that they didn't sign him to trade him. I take that to mean that he was not out there peddling him...but that teams would be asking about him, and if he was blown away, or found a deal that felt right, he'd trade anyone, including OBJ.
I too think it takes a huge set to do this. And it's moving us more to the Patriots' model with every step taken. Don't overpay for anyone, get tons of picks, get more comp picks, and be coldly calculating.

And he knows it. Like he didn't talk to his best friend in the world Jarvis Landry about it and his college coach Adam Henry about it. He's only shocked that it happened, but I guarantee he's happier today playing with his best friend and a very good young QB on an up and coming team. He's out of the frying pan here, with a good QB and stable franchise on the upswing.
Don't under estimate the media in Cleveland. That is a real sports town and they will be on his case. It's not like this is San Diego...

No. Just pointing out a moron when I see one. So, when you post, it’s damn easy. Dipshit.

Trying to emulate the patriots is a pipe dream. There isn't a model. It's having an all-time great QB and brilliant coach.
We have a 38 year old on the way out and Pat Shurmur.
DG heading home from the office.
It's a brave new world Giants fans.
I'm sorry, you're talking about a franchise that has ONE playoff game in 20 years, right?

And the Eagles were the team with the empty trophy case until they weren't. Nothing lasts forever and past performance under entirely different regimes with different player sets are no predictor of future outcomes.
(I just threw up a little - but what the Browns have done over the last 20 years is completely irrelevant)
