Time to Call Seattle About Russell Wilson

Doubledeuce22 : 3/12/2019 8:55 pm
After this trade I think it’s time to officially move on from Eli. If those vague reports of Russell Wilson actually leaving next year have any weight to them why not try to flip #17 for Russell Wilson? Build out the remainder of our OL with either a FA RT or draft one with our 2nd pick. Take best available pass rusher with #6.
Why would Seattle make that trade?

Is the idea that he's leaving anyway?
It's time to move on from Eli

But not with a 31 year old QB
yep

Only way to justify this move
What's the point?

Who is he going to be throwing to?
Yeah the offense is just set for a vet QB to come in and thrive

Next year. If Seattle has knowledge that he wants to walk then why not accept #17? That would certainly make me feel better about this trade. Build this offense around the run game with a strong OL and one of the best RBs in football. Add Wilson as our QB and draft a WR or sign one next year. DG needs to hit on his draft picks again and this could all work out.

Are you kidding. I'd take Wilson in a heartbeat. He's got at least another 6 years in him.
Lol if we could pull that off

The O could look explosive even without Odell with a dynamic QB like Wilson and Barkley .
Wilson has done well with a good run game and some

Average to above average WRs before. No reason to think he can’t do the same with potentially the best rushing attack in football (if this line performs like we hope).
Trading for Russell Wilson

makes sense if you have Odell.
Trading for Russell Wilson?!

That's an incredibly dumb move given the team is missing a #1 WR.

The team is trying to rebuild via the draft. Why would they waste one of these picks on an aging QB?
I’d be okay

with Wilson. He’s a good QB. Don’t see it realistically happening but also didn’t think OBJ would be traded this year.

6 years to do what? over the 1st 3 years he gets us a few extra wins to make us 7-9 instead of 4-12. What is the point?

The last 3 years we have a bloated contract for an aging QB that hamstrings us from making other necessary moves. Sound familiar?
they cleared alot of cap space

You never know... :-)
