He's got some vertical speed, but hes a stiff when it comes to agility.
On tape he missed some easy deep throws. I didnt see those kinds of misses from a "top" QB since I looked at Josh Allen, who I am/was convinced would be a bust.
He was the Senior Bowl MVP. GIANTS always draft the Senior Bowl MVP, we've done it the two previous drafts, why stop now.
It would be another mistake as well.
Paraphrasing Sam Elliot from Gettysburg- "I've led a Giants Fan's life, and I've never seen anything as brutally clear as this. It's as if I can actually see the Giants in one long, bloody moment, goin' up the long carpet to the stage. As if it were already done... already a memory. An odd... set... stony quality to it. As if the draft has already happened and there's nothin' you can do about it. The way you sometimes feel before an ill-considered draft pick, knowin' it'll fail, but you cannot stop it. You must even take part, and help it fail."
He has that Manning connection and has been compared to him in manner and style. Do not count it out . # !7 is a spot he could fall too very easily. if the Giants get a defensive stud at #6 and their next QB ( Jones) that would be a big win for them. Would it not ? Then they still have pick #37 and pick from Browns in the third round. it could be a big win for DG if this was his plan. Hope that is the case. A happy ending
and a top defender at #6 plus a 2nd round pick at safety last year in this trade. We also have the extra third this year . Plus the cap freedom we will have next year without, OBJ make DG/Rosen pretty savy guys. Think positive. Feel better.
I've watched a number of his games and, given the weak o-line and Â

Don't do that to me, Dave. Just trade the pick.
Flame away but I'm willing to give it a year.

lolol.. bravo :)
Second time's the charm!
Based on what? How many downs has he played in the pros?
If we take him, it seems like we will be in the QB wilderness for a while.
Both of those ideas make me ill.
