Most important draft in memory

kennyd : 3/12/2019 10:25 pm
If we end up with Flowers, Apple, Amukamara types of picks in the first or even second round we are in serious trouble going forward. Obviously these are some pretty dark days but if Gettleman and company don't hit this draft out of the park, things are only getting worse. He did well last year, say a prayer, cross your fingers, burn some sage, I don't care what you do, this draft is HUGE
Most important?!?!

What the fuck was last year's draft then?!

The organization could have already had their franchise QB in place.
Since 2004

Look at it this way- A Giants overhaul: they traded Odell Beckham Jr., Olivier Vernon, Snacks Harrison and Eli Apple and netted a 2019 first-round pick, 2019 third-round pick, 2019 fourth-round pick, 2019 fifth-round pick, 2020 seventh-round pick, Kevin Zeitler and Jabrill Peppers.

That most definitely remains to be seen. I'm not sold on any of last years QBs. Servicable at this point maybe. Franchise, I'm not so sure

Huh?! Giants had the #2 pick in a draft that rivals the 2004 draft in terms of QB talent! The 2018 draft WAS the most important for the Giants...the outcome remains to be seen, but the team had the chance to change the future of the franchise for the next 15 years. The same can't as easily be said for the 2019 draft.
