If you mean Eli helped make their careers .I agree!!
But not quite sure how Eli caused cartilage damage in Smith's knee, caused a DB to roll up on Nicks on a routine play, or caused Cruz knee to literally explode when he jumped... But hey maybe I'm not givimg Eli enough credit..
I will never understand a Giants “fan” hating Eli. He was MVP of 2 Super Bowls. All OBJ ever did for the team was drop a bunch of passes in the playoffs.
I think we may pick up the next one in the draft. After my research and what Gettlemen tends to like My bet is Butler..Also can put people in the ground in the run game.
RE: Giants WR = Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher Â
One thing I noticed (and may be obvious to others), we seemed to treat the WR position differently from 2007. Be it a change in priority, evaluation, coaching or just luck I don't know. But prior to 2007, Homer Jones was the last probowl WR and Toomer was easily among the greatest by the numbers. No doubt there were some we loved in between, but few were either high production or even just consistent between mediocrity if not injury
Then Plax as an FA, Smith, Nicks, OBJ, even finding Cruz, or Shep...very sudden, drastic change in a very short time
He also had a cushy, lucrative career in RC racing to fall back on
Can't build a football team around that position.
I agree
.
I don't think NY can handle superstar athletes with big personalities.
NY likes quiet superstars.
