We have had the absolute worst line football the last god knows how many years. That is changing.
We hoped to build around OBJ and SB but OBJ just made it impossible to do with his bullshit antics and lack of ability to stay on the field. Pumped we got rid of him when we did and got what we could.
Now the offense is a RT and a WR away from being set to be very competent behind Eli in the final year of his deal. Hopefully they DO NOT extend him.
Time to concentrate on the D which would have been extremely hard to do with 75% of the teams cap being eaten up by offensive players.

Cleveland opened their window last year, getting their QB, trading for Landry, and now with this off-season with OBJ, Richardson, Hunt, and possibly Earl Thomas. They will have a 3-4 year window of being a top team. Pittsburgh is gonna be down losing AB and LB, Baltimore lost Suggs, Mosley and John Brown, and Cindy sucks. 2 years ago 0-16, last year 7-8-1, this year maybe division champs.
But, they were horrible. They paid a price but their window is now.
The Giants are closing a window on Eli to OBJ. They are getting set to open the new window of a power running game behind a good O Line and a amazing RB in Barkley. They will invest more into our defense this draft.
A new QB will be added in the next 2 years, probably this April. Eli will pass the torch at some time during the next season or maybe at the end.
Our window closed a couple years ago. Time to build another team and open a new window.
