On Sunday, though, Beckham never found his rhythm with Manning, who came out of the gate with newfound zip on his throws. The Giants quarterback laced the ball to Beckham on a third-down play in the opening quarter, only to see the receiver drop the pass to end New York's first drive. On the team's second march, Manning unfurled a pass that slipped through Beckham's hands in the end zone as he dropped what would have been a 28-yard touchdown grab. The Giants went on to kick a field goal. |
Our offense sucked and our defense got exposed.
The Giants just hit a home run.

When you have unreasonable expectations of what a guy is worth in a trade, which has been evidenced here often, you are going to overreact to any trade.
When you compare to the AB trade, this deal was outstanding
Among the interesting sentences of the piece... "And Carolina rattled Eli Manning into four turnovers to lead the Panthers to victory."

Then last year when the season was clearly out of reach and they shut him down.
I mean we are grasping at straws.
The old farts really are vindicated today.

Because there's a small segment of Giants fans who literally hated the guy.

Because there is a large portion of the fan base who do not realize that in recent times this guy does more in pregame warmups than he does when the whistle blows.
If you cannot wrap your head around what his interview did (days after taking millions from the team) than I got nothing. You really want that guy on your team?
