in that this is a pretty unpopular move and they want to minimize alienating a portion of the fan base. But couldn't it also be true?
Even Beckham's most ardent supporters, and I was one, would have to agree that he was at best mercurial and at worst downright difficult to manage. The interview with Anderson and Lil Wayne...there is literally no way to defend that. It was a colossally stupid move and is a huge part of why he's no longer here.
If you gotta be mad at someone for Beckham getting traded be mad at Odell Beckham.
parts of the Giant organization would be blind or dishonest. Think he was traded because they thought this would only get worse. Lets move on .Glad we do not have to play against him that often. Tremendous talent but might have been too much "on the wild side' for this teams temperment and style. MO.

In NY, apparently, having a bad interview with a rapper is a sin that you can't come back from. Give me a break. If there's something else, fine - but that interview being the breaking point would be the weakest reason to dump a playmaker in the history of sports.

I don't give a damn about meaningless interviews, sorry
by executives that are so thin skinned and insecure that the interview with Lil Wayne actually factored into their decision. At some point someone in the room has to act like a grown up.

Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly became "too much of a pain in the a--" before trade to Browns
It's just SI quoting Vacchiano saying he has a source that Beckham had become too much of a "pain in the ass."
