Small bit of non-obj asshat info

Have a couple friends in the Wisconsin Athletic Department who let me know the Giants have been spending a ton of time with Michael Dieter at their pro day.

Dieter started as a guard, moved to center, then left tackle then back to guard last year -- so he's versatile. He also never missed a game. Can't speak to the bend and kick step and all that good stuff, but I can say that when they ran behind him good stuff used to happen. Definitely worth a look in the 4th or so.
I'm more than favorably disposed to Wisconsin linemen in general

Even if we settle our starting OL,
732NYG : 3/13/2019 1:57 pm : link
our depth has been just as much of a problem. I’d be all for it.
He would be a great pick

Dieter ... this would be a very good pick. Versatile and would be a great value pick ... currently underrated by many.
Projected for 3rd rd.
Des51 : 3/13/2019 2:00 pm : link
NFL Draft Scout has him listed as a tackle, with left guard and center experience, going in the 3rd.

thanks for passing that along.
He's one of those players who the draft 'experts' underrate,
Ira : 3/13/2019 2:04 pm : link
but you can bet that gm's know who he is. He'll go much earlier than expected.
Guy to keep track of come Draft day

now scheduled a visit to the Giants.
Always good to know
Bluesbreaker : 3/13/2019 2:27 pm : link
that this draft is pretty deep in many positions outside
of QB not in love with any of them but we have 12 picks
so we will get several decent players and upgrade our
bench as well . I hope they stand pat at #6 and get a
stud Edge rusher and having the 17th pick we can get
another starter for the O-line that would solidify
the Offensive line .Then we can pick and choose BPA for
needs CB WR LB DT even TE . Will miss OBJ for his HR ability
but I think DG has us set up for a solid rebuild .
Hopefully they get Williams RT that way we will get
much more out of Barkley in the run game .

Nice to see a thread with good comments on it. Instead of it turning into a "cut Eli" thread. Thanks.
